2 out of 5 eggsWorked for a while...

Pros: Comfortable for hours on end. Cheap for a headset.

Cons: Owned two of these because they fit that well and took exceptional care of both. Both sets were plugged in once and never relocated. The most abuse they got was removing them from stand to put on my head.

The first one broke after 4 months/500+ hours due to cheap build of volume adjuster. It started with crackling when adjusting volume, then eventually just died all together. Wiggling the cable seemed to help for a while but then they failed completely.
Second pair only lasted 3 months. One of the adjuster rails cracked (my fault) but was fixable with a little glue. Right speaker died a month later. Not sure if it was speaker itself or break in line.
I won't buy another pair.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Sounding Headset!

Pros: I wear these mainly at night when I'm gaming because of thin walls in my house. They sound great to me. No problems. Like any pair of headphones they take a little while to get use to wearing especially if you have never worn gaming headphones at all or for long periods of time

Cons: Cords are a bit excessively long. If my computer was a distance away that would be understandable, or if I were to run the cords through the walls to hide them. Otherwise great headphones for the price

2 out of 5 eggsNot happy

Pros: the speakers are excellent, same as the px22, Ive used both.

Cons: Okay so when you turn up the game volume on the mini amp, it starts picking all sorts of weird noises from my computer so i have to turn it down to half way, the px 22 didnt do that.

The major issue is that the mic sucks, I use rosetta stone and the mic doesnt pick up my voice clearly and also seems to lag a lot. so I have to repeatedly say the phrase until it gets it, very annoying. I've had cheap headsets that were better at this. The px 22 model didnt do this and worked perfectly with no lag.

yea i know the thing is made for gaming but come on. seriously come on.

Other Thoughts: Just go with the px22 model its much better, much much better.

5 out of 5 eggsBest you can get at this price

Pros: - Good sound quality.
- Clear microphone.
- Long cord.
- Durable.
- Very comfortable.

Cons: - In-line volume knobs in an awkward place.

Other Thoughts: I've had these things for around 2 years and I've only ever been happy with them. I'm not rough on my equipment, but I'm not super delicate with it either, and these have held up without a single issue.

Very comfortable, there are few headsets I can stand wearing for extended periods, but these are one of them.

The sound quality is better than expected for a $60 set, lots of low end, kinda flat on the back end. It's a gaming headset, so naturally it's going to excel in the frequencies games tend to put out. That doesn't mean they aren't good for music by any stretch, but you'll probably find rock sounds better than classical on these.

The only real con I can come up with is the location of the in-line volume knobs. I'm always getting it caught on the edge of the desk or accidentally turning the knobs when it brushes up against my sweater or whatnot. It's not something worth docking an egg for, but I'd prefer it if the knobs were on the headset proper, so the cord could just be a cord.

All in all, if you want a comfortable, good sounding headset for gaming and chatting without dropping a crazy amount of coin, these are going to be very hard to beat.

5 out of 5 eggsBest headset I have ever owned

Pros: Long cord, Bass boost, amazing sound quality, black/green color, speakers don't blow at full sound/full bass, surround sound

Cons: friends say the mic glitches sometimes

Other Thoughts: Amazing headset but if Turtle beach improved the mic even if it made the price go up it would be perfect

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Headset

Pros: Long Lasting
Bass Boost
It has a good muffle to outside noises
Game Volume AND chat volume knobs

Cons: Mic can sometimes be heard by the people you are talking to and echo for them

Other Thoughts: I would 100% get this again for this price. If you are looking for a more expensive headset, then i would recommend Razer Tiamat 7.1, but if you only wana spend $60ish instead of $200 then this is the headset for you.

3 out of 5 eggsWorth The Price

Pros: It comes at a very affordable price, and at that price offers a very nice sounds quality. One part I especially liked was the 'feedback' on the mic, it was a good indicator of telling if your microphones was on and if you could be heard.

Cons: Broken Microphone after little use. I got this headset last year as a gift (I had no return information) and shortly after my computer's motherboard crashed, so I had to wait about 7 months to build a new one, when I did, after about a week of using the headset the microphone cut in and out, and I had to tweek the cable going in the side to get it to stay on, then it cut out all together, and I cracked it open the next day (Evidently a very stupid choice on my part). The X12 had shown clear signs of a wire being loose for the microphone, but for the life of me I could not find anything wrong, all the wires were seated properly in their solder, and none of their coat's were striped so far to cause shorting. After attempting to put it back together I snapped two wires our of their soldering, this was earlier today, thus, I'm still working on fixing my mistake. My point being, there was no obvious reason the microphone should've quit working but it did, and now I have to buy another headset just to get a microphone, needless to say I'm disapointed.

Other Thoughts: It's definitely worth the $50 price tag, and I feel the problem I had was an anomaly, but I would recommend sending it in if you have a problem with the microphone, as I could not find any fix for it and ended up damaging my headset more.

4 out of 5 eggsspare.

Pros: I got the same headsets from another retailer for a higher price. I like how they look and now I'm currently using the old ones. Just hope by the time I get to use the ones I bought for $35!! don't go "bad".

Cons: Having to hear your own sound is not so great. It could be annoying at times and will bug on TS because of the "hear your own voice" feature. Then again when you buying this product you should already know, I just didn't know it could be so annoying.

Other Thoughts: Wish there was a key or something to deactivate the "hear your own voice" feature.

3 out of 5 eggsBad Mic

Pros: The sound is decent, the low end is pretty nice actually. Which is what you're typically looking for in a headset if you play a lot of FPS games. The fact that it's interchangeable between PC, and Xbox is what initially drew me to this headset in the first place, very convenient.

Cons: The mic was awful from day one. People on Xbox would complain about a loud buzzing noise when it was plugged in, the buzzing went away on PC but people often complained that I sounded far away, and if I adjusted my mic closer the sound was blown out.

Besides the mic, the circumaural headphones are painful to wear, after only about an hour of continual use, it will become very uncomfortable. I have a very average size head, and after adjusting it to fit better it still was rather uncomfortable to wear during the occasional long sessions of gameplay.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for, it's a cheap headset/mic combo.
This isn't a great headset by any means.

3 out of 5 eggsAverage Headset

Pros: Good sound quality with a nice volume/bass adjuster and a pretty good mic.

Cons: REALLY long chord (For PC users this is a con.[10ft long])
Cheap plastic was used to make the product.
Mic. can make some obnoxious sounds on the receiving end after a couple months of use.

Other Thoughts: After just over a year of use, the head size adjuster plastic broke on both sides. The 10 foot chord always seems to get tangled up in my computer chair.
