Pros: * Fantastic microphone quality * Good build quality for the price range * Nice long cables * Mic itself feels sturdy: flexible metal construction with a plastic endcap, no foam to lose * Analog independent volume adjustment for game audio and voice output, located on the left earcup * The difference in audio quality between this and the unamplified official MS XBOX Chat headset is night and day! Cons: * Description didn't describe that the game audio requires L/R analog audio connection, so HDMI users will need to use a separate adapter. At least the L/R analog audio connectors are pass-through. * Earcups are foam, but I honestly think they'll last longer than thin synthetic leather (guess not really a con, and anything fancier would be expecting too much). Other Thoughts: I've bought many high end PC gaming headsets over the years and did a little research. However, I didn't want to spend as much on XBOX comms, or use a 3rd party adapter. Needed to get a real XBOX headset because the MS chat mic wasn't cutting it. Was leaning toward the Bluetooth set, before I saw this item listed as to be released 8/21 & I held out for it. Other headsets' description of whether the HD audio adapter is required was spotty, but if it wasn't described you could at least see connectors in the pictures. This item didn't have an unboxed picture, so I just didn't know. I should've expected it to connect this way. Anyway, I'm only using it for communication audio currently, and for that it is working GREAT. I keep my laptop near my seat and am using that for the USB power. I will post another review in a few months if my opinion of it changes!
