1 out of 5 eggsWorst Headphones Ever

Pros: Sound great, when they are working. Love the bluetooth.

Cons: So I have a pair of wireless headphones for my computer via usb, they work flawlessly. These wireless xbox360 headphones are by far the worst set of headphones I have ever noticed.

They constantly crackle, pop, and are basically unwearable. I bought them because I previously had a set of TB wired headphones which I was happy with. Not so with these.

There is a receiver which uses RF frequencies to send the sound from the wireless tower. In order to even get them to work HALF the time you have to go through a 7 step process of turning off computers, tablets, cell phones, microwaves and other types of stuff LOL. And this doesn't even work.

Also one of the supposed fixes is to distance the tower from your TV. ROFL give us a longer freaking cable set then, with only two feet of cable how are we supposed to create distance between the LCD TV and the receiver.

I don't believe I will ever buy another set of TB wireless headphones ever again.

When I spend $270 on a headset, I expect it to work without having to re-arrange my entire house and entertainment set to accommodate it only to have it work half the time lol.

Other Thoughts: Absolutely terrible.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't bother buying this product

Pros: The product is easy to set up, the sound quality (when it works) is pretty good, and the headphones are fairly comfortable.

Cons: These headphones would constantly cut out or emit small static chirps for me. I've read the troubleshooting suggestions offered by the product's user guide, and re-paired the device with the base-station multiple times. I've tried moving the base station away to different distances from 2 feet to 10 feet, but still no luck.

The user guide also suggested that the interference may be caused by WiFi signals, so I moved it further from any WiFi sources. Some users have also indicated that they've had success after turning off WiFi altogether in their household. Aside from that being a solution I can't implement, I feel that it is also completely impractical. The fact that Turtle Beach created a product this susceptible to interference caused by signal sources as ubiquitous as WiFi is incomprehensible.

I've noticed that the headphones work better late at night, presumably when most people are asleep and devices are powered off or on standby.

I've tried using this product for 2 days now to give it a chance, but the incredibly poor reception of the headphones make it unusable.

Other Thoughts: There's a possibility that the issues I'm experiencing are due to the device being refurbished, but I highly doubt it. The product was in great physical condition, and will work well for brief periods of time, but overall it performs very poorly.

4 out of 5 eggsGood buy

Pros: I bought these about 2 weeks ago and being a Tritton user I am impressed. These have good overall sound and arrived in great condition. You cannot tell these were refurbished in any way and I suspect most of these were returned for cracking/popping sound that these are known for. Did I mention completely wireless!!

Cons: Well they do crack and pop as described but I feel it's a blue tooth issue and not interference with the 2.4ghz signal they use. Mine will make this sound when first powered up for about ten seconds then stop.

Other Thoughts: If you can put up with the brief popping sound, then these are a great buy. I have since sold my Tritton AX 720's to prove this point.

5 out of 5 eggsNICE!!!

Pros: Got em from new egg! Rolled the dice and won. These were, not to long ago, TB's flagship headset but were just to much $$$ for my blood. I'd never pay the full retail for these or any other headset for that matter because I think its simply too much but these were well worth the refurb price. The XBA adapter makes them totally wireless and thats a huge plus to me. Sound quality is good as well. They paired painlessly with my smartphone and music and calls both sound good.
These will eat a set of AA's up but I use NiMH rechargeables in everything including these so not problem.

Cons: I had a little of the crackle and pop interference at first however once I moved the transmitter a little further away from my TV Ive had no more of that, yes your TV can (and mine was) interfere with signal as well and if you use WIFI on your xbox VS running a cable might be an issue too but for me the TV was the culpret but your mileage will vary undoubtedly.
The XBA is sometimes finicky as far as when the headset is first turned on but has never failed to connect for me.
Also just an FYI these have nearly zero sound blocking from noise around you, not a con by anymeans just a heads up.

Other Thoughts: Im impressed thus far, I definetely recommend these to anyone looking to get a high end wireless gaming headset for nearly half the price of retail.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Amazing Headset, can hear everything on Xbox Live playing Black Ops 2. Very comfortable for long sessions and doesn't get all weird with glasses either.

Cons: Strange problems with interference but very intermittently, and few problems with sync but a power cycle on the Bluetooth receiver and it works again.

Other Thoughts: Would totally recommend this headset to friends and I've actually gotten 3 of them to buy it. To good of a deal to pass on.
