Other Thoughts: I did purchase this phone with the phone with the idea to have a good smart phone at a good price, I have spend tons of hours with samsung customer service and AT&T. First I was not able to receive phone calls, my internet was not working. After changing the sim card and updating APN's my internet started working and it seems the issues with the phone calls are less. I read all the possible blogs and solutions, but is not sending and receiving pictures still not working. Based on the information TONS of customer had the same problem. If you want to avoid waist your time, DO NOT BUY THIS phone. Samsung offered me to check the phone and they will fix it if something is wrong; they will not replace it for another Model. I will be for almost a week with no phone. Newegg is going to replace the phone for a new one. But I just get a headache going through all the same process again and find out I have a SMART PHONE that can't send or received a simple picture :( :(.

Pros: Works as promised, I am using it on Consumer Cellular (which uses the ATT Network) and it does everything advertised. This is my first smart phone so I am still experimenting. I am disappointed that I can't save contacts to the sim card, but they can be input online via computer using Zune, Microsoft's online interface for syncing and they do import nicely. The directions also indicate that you can sync with your AT&T phone book if you are contracted directly to AT&T which I am not. This is my first smart phone and it seems to be the best value out there for what I wanted it for. With Consumer Cellular I chose to supply the "unlocked GSM" or "AT&T" phone (they supply the sim card) rather than using one of their phone selections. Oh, note that the sim card supplied by Consumer Cellular is designed to be used either as a full size sim card and is pre-perforated to very easily snap out the micro-sim which fits in this phone.

Cons: There were no instructions on which way to insert the sim card - had to experiment till it registered. Finally searched for and found a YouTube that showed how to do it.

Pros: Two brand new, in the box, perfect !!! Couldn't ask for anything better.

Other Thoughts: The SD chip was a different size, so it wouldn't fit into the smart phone. I looked a chip cutters but afraid to take the chance. I'm on month to month go-phone prepaid plan (which is cheaper than contract price) so I called AT&T. They said go to AT&T store and they will install and activate the correct size chip free of charge. No contacts were able to be transferred, who cares. perfect !!! If you are out of contract, check out the go-phone rates. Call AT&T, you keep the same phone and number, they switch you over, they charge your credit card in advance. You have to pay for the service anyway. Easy, just make simple phone call and save money. !! :-))) I'm willing to believe other vendors would have prepaid cheaper plans.
