1 out of 5 eggsPoor Customer Suppoort

Pros: Good While It Lasted

Cons: Phone charger port ceased to work. If it is out of warranty, even by a few weeks, Good Guys will not provide support. Should a phone die in a little over 3 months? Got a brief, blunt email from them that essentially said "not our problem if it is out of warranty." Did not even pretend to care.

Other Thoughts: You buy a phone from them and it dies, good luck!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat phone

Pros: 1.5 Ghz Dual-Core CPU
1GB RAM.
LTE
2.4ghz and 5Ghz wireless

This phone works great on Straight Talk with 4G HSDPA and LTE.
Android 4.1.2 available via Samsung Kies software.

Cons: Stock battery doesn't get you through the day.
Stock MMS app only works with AT&T.
Phone ear piece (speaker) seems quiet. The speaker phone is plenty loud.

Other Thoughts: Replaced battery with Samsung Galaxy Nexus i515 2100mAh for $12. Rooted phone, zip align, odex framework and system apks, removed AT&T bloatware.
That will yield you 2 days of battery.

To fix MMS, get the SecMms.apk from GT-I9100 phone and replace the one in /system/app/ (requires root access)

I'm changing over the to the Nexus 5 for $349, a lot more phone $100 more.

5 out of 5 eggsvalue, powerful, unlocked lte phone

Pros: Fast, huge storage, recently updated to android 4.1.2

Cons: Way too many ATT and Samsung apps. Android updates only available via Kies instead of direct push.

Other Thoughts: I've been an owner for about a month. I previously had a non-lte Samsung Galaxy S2 (not the skyrocket version). It was deftly pickpocketed in Paris in July (heed the numerous warnings!). I liked it so much that I just wanted to replace it with the same phone, but unlocked, and not one of the more recent and mightier Sammys. The Skyrocket has a larger processor than the original S2 and came with lte capability. After taming the preinstalled apps, I am loving this phone as much as the first S2. Huge storage, fast processor, and android updates make it nearly as good as the Galaxy S4 for a lot less money. I am currently using ATT's gophone prepaid service. The plan options are somewhat pricey compared to the ATT MNVO's (e.g. airvoice, h2o etc). However an ATT shop nearby has been helpful on setup and tips, and for me it's worth a few bucks more to have a live person available. Finally, being unlocked gives you many service options, which is a solid plus if you travel with the phone, or just want to sell it sometime. Thanks again to Newegg for the usual speedy service and careful packaging.

4 out of 5 eggsIt IS an upgrade from my old LG Optimus Zip with StraightTalk

Pros: The phone is a very nice and simple design. Its faster than any other phone I've owned! I upgraded from an LG Optimus Zip with the StraightTalk company. I love the fact that its got the 4G LTE speed which makes it awesome! It can pretty much do what the S3 can.... But the S2 is what I'm going to stick with for a while! The front facing camera is SUPER handy for me! I like to video chat with my best friend a LOT on OOVOO.

Cons: The cons I can think of are the phone tends to feel like its getting really "warm". I close each running app from the Active Applications widget that lets me know what I need/want to close if I'm not using it. The phone is a "slippery" device, and it can start to "spazz" out every once in a while but I have a very high tolerance for that.

Other Thoughts: Overall, the phone is very nice and I love the upgrade! The only thing I would love and that would make it even more better is to have a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Its awesome that its also a factory unlocked phone! Id say paying $339 is pretty darn awesome! I was so anxious to get this phone that I actually paid an extra $19.00 to do an overnight ship! Im a happy girl!

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice!

Pros: Very nice design, sleek and elegant looking, could almost be confused for a regular galaxy S3.
The 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm CPU is more then enough to power through all applications around, 1GB of ram is a bit low, but if you are like me I don't like to leave applications running anyway since it will eat the battery life up. Also one of the few S2s to actually have 4G LTE access, which makes it more of a galaxy 2.5 which does everything a S3 can just at a WAY cheaper price.

Cons: Can't think of any real prevalent con, only thing I can think of is that it does tend to easily slip out of your hands when in use, but a simple case(which should be done for almost any nice cell phone anyway).

Other Thoughts: When I first got the phone the SGH-I727 was almost the only Galaxy 2 to not have a Jellybean update, but it has finally been released within the past 2 days, which really puts performance through the roof with substantial speed increases over ICS.
