Some unlocked cell phones sold by Newegg may have previously been locked to a specific carrier. A carrier-locked cell phone may often have carrier-specific applications and branding. Some of these applications cannot be unlocked and/or may not function with a different carrier. Also, applications requiring a data plan may result in data usage charges from the original carrier.

In addition, the cell phone box may arrive unsealed and the cell phone may appear previously handled. The unlocking procedure requires unsealing the box and manually handling the cell phone. In this case, the cell phone should not be considered “tampered with” or “defective”.

5 out of 5 eggsi think im in love

Pros: What a phone, worth every penny. Alright first off the 5 mpx camera is absolutely gorgeous. The picture/video quality is spectacular. The stereo speakers are louder and clearer then any phone i've come in contact with. The built in 3.5 mm headphone jack is a nice touch, being able to use your own head phones is quite a treat. The music player has all kinds of options. call quality is crystal, for both parties. The battery life is stunning, even with all the bells and whistles going. The construction quality is also very nice, the solidness of the device is confidence inspiring. probably my favorite part of the phone though is the fact that no one knows what it is. I pull it out and I get curious glances all the time, is it a camera? GPS? mp3? internet device? all of the above baby. Trust me if you love solid built quality gadgets this is the one for you.

Cons: Of course there is no phone without flaws, however the pros out weigh the cons hands down. Alright first off if your looking for the sleekness of a fruity phone don't bother with this, its not the phone for you anyway. don't get me wrong its not a brick but bulky would not be an exaggeration. Another con would be the missing ability to charge through usb, it has a second hole for charging. The 8gb internal storage is painfully slow, taking 15 minutes+ to transfer a 300 mb file. the keypad is a tad bit small, i came from a blackberry with a qwerty keypad, so its taking some time to go back to t9, however if you are used to classic keypads you shouldn't have a problem. the gps does take a little while to lock on to your location indoors but when outside its pretty quick. A dissapointment is the fact that it cant use tmobiles 3g but thats not nokia its tmo. It can use cingulars from what ive heard.

Other Thoughts: all in all I'm convinced this is the best phone I've ever owned and I've had a few. I forgot to mention all the great apps floating around on the web for the symbian os, have a look at y-browser, fring, smartmovie, rotateme, google maps (so awesome being able to pull up aerial, street view of your current location, gps automatically integrates), slidehelper, opera mini, FSCaller, Flipsilent and mobbler. I really could go on and on about this phone, I haven't put it down since i got it a week ago. As I write this it currently has full battery (after a days use) as well as full reception. GET IT.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat phone

Pros: Great phone, ordered this for my friend. I used it first for a week and it got no problems until my friend used it and he said, it kept turn off every late night. I like the WLAN, it got great connection and fast. Also, the speaker of this phone is amazing, it's so freaking loud. It's loudest phone I ever seen.

Cons: It's great phone and good for browsing internet and music player

Other Thoughts: It's kinda thick.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Beast

Pros: The phone has every single thing that anyone would want, and its all in a nice package. Its alittle chunky, but considering everything that's in it, its not that bad, and I like it more that way, it gives it a tougher look. It's fast, smooth, and the screen makes watching videos a pleasure! I come from an N82, and this phone has earned a spot in my heart.

THE SCREEN THE SCREEN THE SCREEN!

Cons: No Xenon Flash! That's my only complaint, like I said, coming from an N82, I miss the Xenon flash so much. However, everything else makes up for it, and I would rather have this phone.

Other Thoughts: Love this phone.

5 out of 5 eggsI LOVE MY N95 8G

Pros: You can't go wrong with this phone, you can play games, take pic/videos and edit them, and search the web/ and with WI-FI, and i use the GPS all the time with google maps, and there are a lot of 3rd party aps that you can install.

Cons: It dont have a mem card slot

Other Thoughts: I love this phone and its never let me down, even after iv droped it, dunked it in oil (it fell in the oil), and tested a lot of aps with it and it works great.

5 out of 5 eggsN95 8GB: Better Than Fruity Phone

Pros: This is an awesome piece of kit. It does a huge number of things, and all of them are done quite well. The GPS has been a godsend, and the camera/video capabilities are top notch. The screen is beautiful and I love Symbian. It's awfully hard to list everything here, but all I can say is that if you're torn between this and the phone made out of apples, this one is a true winner.

Cons: Nokia is a little lame about releasing firmware updates for the NAM models. The Euro latest is v30.0, whereas the NAM latest is v20.2. Whatever the hold up is, it's not very cool of them. The keypad is a little small. Symbian has its flaws, especially pertaining to network connections. The speakers are nigh on useless, though they do get pretty loud.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a phone that supports AT&T HSDPA, there is nothing better than the Nokia N95 8GB.

4 out of 5 eggsNokia N95 8GB

Pros: Every feature on this phone is top notch. Video and sound recording quality was excellent. Pictures are as good if not better than a your regular digital camera.

Cons: When you are recording a video in a place with very loud sound like in a concert you will get sound clipping. GPS signal is slow to lock if you do not have direct aim at the sky but once locked it will stay locked as long as your hand is not covering the bottom of the phone.

Other Thoughts: The cons are not so bad at all really. It should not stop anyone from choosing this great phone. Just in my case I was disappointed at the sound clipping when i was recording one of my favorite bands in the concert. Under normal circumstances the recording should be fine. BEWARE: Even though this phone supports American 3G no carrier is supporting this phone yet so you wont be able to use all the features of the phone.

4 out of 5 eggsRead before buying!!

Pros: Best phone I have ever owned(I have owned 4 N series devices)
-Pictures are great
-Video is great
-Ngage games are fun
-Call quality is awesome
-Tonz of programs on the net for Symbian, many are free
-It is durable
-Great speakers/headphone sound quality
-Nice gallery program
-Small and lightweight(for what it does and what it can replace)
-Large memory(8Gb)
-Good PDA functions(many options)
-Duel slide comes in handy/Music controls
-Full web browser with Flash and Java.

Cons: -Relatively short battery(better than my N95)
-No memory card slot and internal memory(8Gb) is VERY slow. Transfering items from your Pc is painfully slow. Transfers were much faster using a card read with a MicroSDHC card.
-Phone responds much slower if using an 3rd party theme/skin. Also after installing a few apps.
-Every now and then it will restart itself.
-Web browser will close randomly.
-WiFi connection will randomly disconnect.
-No QWERTY Keyboard without buying a BT one and hauling it around.
-Camera application can be slow to start.
-No optical zoom.
-Image editor is very limited(still pretty nice to have though)
-Geotagging photos can't be done right out of the box.
-Turn-by-turn voice guidance in Nokia maps cost money(comes with trial).
-Screen saver comes on in landscape(cannot be changed[as of right now]).
-Music/Gallery application can be Very slow to index items and load.

Other Thoughts: First off, you may want to think about buying an N95-3 if you can, it has the extra RAM that this one has over the N95-1 without the 8GB of storage, but I used a 6GB MicroSDHC card and it worked just fine in my N95-1 and has the larger battery.
Also many issues are fixed/improved by firmware updates from Nokia, so I would highly recommend using Nokia Software Updater as soon as you take the phone out of the box(while charging). After any updates complete, disconnect and check again for updates to make sure you have the most recent build available(sometimes you get one in between). Then load your info/media, and perform a backup(on the pc or on the mass memory). Also don't bother installing Nokia PC Suite from the disk that comes with the phone, by the time you hold that, its out of date, just download it from Nokia.com and be patient, it can take a while to install.

5 out of 5 eggsiPHONE KILLEr

Pros: This phone is the best phone I have ever used so far. Normally, I go through new phones every month and find lots and lots of flaws in all the ones that I have used. Phones I have used, palm treo 750, bb 8130, htc mda, htc mogul, and etc.
The phone has the best of everything, including the GPS(which takes about a minute or less to lock on), 5 mp camera(5 seconds and its up to take a shot), and one of the best screens on a cellphone ever. It records video in very high quality and high fps too, which makes this phone pretty much a camcorder.
The internet is the best part about this phone, I mean the websites LOOK REAL, just like they do on desktops. And you can go onto YOUTUBE(the full version). Though watching youtube videos requires a good network(tmobile doesn't cut it). But if your thinking about putting $500+ into the best phone ever, you are probably not going to go with a very bad network like MetroPCS(i know its cdma and this phone is gsm).

Cons: NONE, but I would have liked a qwerty keyboard, but hey we can't all be winners :). this phone rocks
