5 out of 5 eggsSturdiest Phone I've Ever Had

Pros: This phone can take a beating, with 30+ drops from 5 or more feet this little guy never had an issue. Also, good features, pretty quick and good sound quality.

Cons: Small screen, dust collects behind screen after long term use.

Other Thoughts: Companies should take note of its rock solid design!

1 out of 5 eggsDefective Battery

Pros: Good appearance only!

Cons: This phone battery won't last long! Good for about 6 months and then problem occurred, fully charged battery will only last for about 1 hour and then shut off by itself! Beware Nokia do not allow you to use this phone outside US, I'm a Canadian customer and they voided my warranty and won't replace the battery for me! Newegg customer service won't do anything for you either!

Other Thoughts: Disappointed customer!

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely happy with this phone!

Pros: It's a Nokia, you expect durability and this is what's you're getting with this phone. I've owned many other brands and I still prefer Nokias. This phone is durable (I've dropped more than just a few times), the battery life is good and it is extremely user-friendly. I had read that the speaker quality isn't great but it's not as bad as people made it seem to be. Also, don't listen to the complaints that there's no volume buttons on the side, you won't miss them! Finally, it has various applications like FM radio, organizer, alarms and media player that come to be extremely useful.

Cons: The battery drains fairly quickly when connected to a bluetooth device.

Other Thoughts: This is a superb phone for the price, I recommend it for all.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Phone

Pros: I don't have to re-up another 2 years with ATT.
I can connect the headphone jack to the aux in of my car stereo and still use the phones microphone for hands free driving. Battery life seems good so far. Programming is easy and the manual is easy to read and understand.

Cons: It sometimes wigs-out trying to scan for networks.

2 out of 5 eggsI was expecting ALOT more from this phone

Pros: -good battery life
-navigation buttons arnt cramped
-good selection of preinstalled software
-Wifi (pretty much saves the phone)

Cons: -CA-101 usb specific, usb cable not included
-Not "3G" HDSPA , UMTS 3G <- essentially Edge speeds
-APN settings
-No dedicated volume keys , lock key
-The price
-Cant use wifi in offline mode. So if you dont have a sim in your phone you cant just connect to your wifi and browse the ovi store, or use ebuddy, or anything else. Comepletely destroys the use of wifi.

Other Thoughts: My first gripe of the phone is that it dubbes itself as a 3g phone, when infact it "isnt". this is obviously a consumer mistake but it should have been clearly indicated on the packaging of specs that its UMTS.

Second you cant just use any micro usb cable to sync your phone it has to be a nokia specified cable thats not included in the box. thanks nokia, how the hell am i to transfer my contacts from outlook? Oh wait it lets you do so via bluetooth, just go out of your way and buy a dongle.

Third most annoying feature is the APN settings. You cant properly set an APN setting as a default setting. The phone will keep asking you which setting you want and wont abide by it. Itll always warn you that youre using data packets.. so signing in to ebuddy becomes a 4 step process. When your connection times out (which it shouldnt), it wont automatically sign you back in, itll ask you the same 4 questions. If youre a data user avoid this phone at all costs. It's so ________ing frusterating

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: 1. Great battery life
2. Great call quality
3. Great price

Cons: 1. Symbiam operating system is a bit out-of-date comparing with iphone and Android system
2. Does not support WPA enterprise(very well), my colleagues’ iPhone and android phone log into my company’s WiFi easily. Nokia does not have a plan to update this issue. It’s shame for Nokia.
3. No side volume control button.

Other Thoughts: If you can invest a little bit more money, upgrade to iPhone, Android and Blackberry.

3 out of 5 eggsNokia E63

Pros: Price, form factor, good wi-fi range, bright display even in direct sunlight

Cons: awkward operating system, very poor manual, battery life is so-so

Other Thoughts: If you are just going to use is out of the box as a phone it is a great deal. But if you want to do anything more invovled (synchronize with outlook using bluetooth, or customize the interface etc) you are in for headaches. The paper manual is very poor, and the Nokia site is not much help. The symbian o/s is awkward and there are relatively few apps available. Not recommended for anyone above a basis user.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Smartphone

Pros: Doesn't break your wallet if you need a smartphone when you don't qualify for an upgrade. Beats buying a used Blackberry the "bay" . Phone response quick to all applications. Keyboard is very responsive unlike other smart phones which have a lag. The OS is good, and the call quality is decent. Email setup is very simple, and Facebook App is a plus. Lastly, 3G is a big plus for data.

Cons: This phone as reported by cnet does not support the 3.5G HSDPA bands so with AT&T downloading some apps take 2-3 minutes where it would normal download in a minute.
The OS is confusing at first, and the manual does not tell one how to get the contacts from simcard to show. After playing with the mobile one finally realize you have change the drop down menu in contacts from contacts to phone then copy all the contacts from the simcard to the phone.
Also after email is setup one might be wondering why only one email account shows on desktop? It is because of other apps that are being listed if u choose to hide some of those apps on the home screen all of your email accounts will show. (again not in the manual).

Other Thoughts: The manual could use a lot of work. The OS is good, but needs some work like the ability to just show everything from the sim card with out the need to copy all contacts to the phone. The Nokia messaging feature for email should have information included that if you don't have a data plan you may get charged after the trail period. No where is this information found till you use google, and find other AT&T users who have a data plan and aren't being charged to use this feature. As to the call quality I haven't had any issues, but I mainly use the phone for data.

5 out of 5 eggsAngel

Pros: Before I bought this phone I read all the reviews and have to say those who complain about the phone : This is a smart cell phone under 200$ it is not a high tech laptop or a PC. Everything works nice and smoothly. Got awesome wi-fi connection (just by not paying 20$ a month for data plan the phone pay it self for less than a year). Battery life for this device is more than good. I`m still learning new things about the phone but so far nothing have disappointed me . I`ll wait until the 73 drops to 200 $ and then will switch to it . E73 might be better but how many times you`ll really use the GPS so to pay more for it. To me the phone don`t look slow at all . If you don`t use more than 2-3 apps at the time the speed is good. The camera could been better , but remember is 2008 model and is under 200$ . E-mail sync works awesome - I received notice for new mail on the phone sooner than was able to see on my laptop. Key pad is prefect it seems small in the begging but you get used to.

Cons: None.
