1 out of 5 eggsNever Nokia

Pros: The navigation, decent phone, nice size

Cons: 3 months after the warranty expired the phone died. I sent it to Pal \co as recommended by Nokia to be repaired. 5 months later and several shipping back and forth of the phone, the phone is still dead. I got tired of shipping it back to the repair center. The last conversation with the repair center was something on the lines "here is working" I don't think that they ever have checked it out in real world if it is working or tried to make a phone call with it.

Other Thoughts: Shame Nokia for a low quality product and for taking my money for "repairing it" To put it blunt: I got scr***d and they got my repair money too and did nothing regarding the phone.
first and last time to buy Nokia. Too bad I like some of the phones they make

2 out of 5 eggsNokia going down??

Pros: Good reception and call quality
Free lifetime ovi Maps

Cons: Symbian is doomed, build quality is subpar compared to Finland made nokia phones, No wifi, unlock button will fade in very short time. resistive touch pad is unresponsive at times, if you're used to capacitive forget about this one, These phones have a really really high failure rate, you better get an extended warranty if you get one of these.

Other Thoughts: I've used to be a nokia fan, hardware is still one of the best out there, but they've made a few wrong decisions. Symbian is doomed, remember Maemo? well nobody does and nobody will remember symbian in a short time, apps for this phone are very few compared to other OS and apps are expensive, you even have to pay just to get a word/ excell/pdf reader, do yourself a favor and get yourself an android phone.

3 out of 5 eggsCould have been one of the greats, but...

Pros: Free GPS! And free worldwide maps too! The GPS does work without a data plan. There's partial ability to sync with a desktop computer (but see list of cons). Great service from NewEgg as always. Did I mention free GPS and free worldwide maps?

Cons: This phone could have been one of the greats but has so many rough edges that I'm docking it two full stars. First and foremost the interface is clumsy and non-intuitive, though eventually you sort of learn to deal with it. The GPS does work without a data plan but you can't sync waypoints (favorites) with the desktop Ovi Maps app unless you have a data plan. Why on earth that can't be done through the USB connection?

Other Thoughts: The phone continually strikes me as a "could-have-been." Features that seem great turn out to be incompletely finished or integrated, such as the excellent GPS that requires a data plan to sync favorites. I don't regret having bought it but with a little more attention to detail this phone could have been SO much better.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is an awesome product

Pros: GPS works well w/o 3G data plan; it works great w/ 3G data plan- A-GPS - beats most standalone GPS.

Tons of free resources from Nokia and 3rd party.

Cons: 2M camera and no wifi - as mentioned many times; supports 3G with 850/1900 only - like Rogers and AT&T

Other Thoughts: You get way more than you paid, if you know how to work with the firmware inside. The product I got has type code RM-594, which you can find tutorials and DIY firmware how to upgrade and customize it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood phone for the money

Pros: Just buy it from T-mobile with pay as you go plan for $99 and have it unlocked for other networks for another $20 or so and the deal is the best. Sorry NewEgg, you price is way to expensive this time.

Cons: Price here.

Other Thoughts: You just can not get better gps phone for the price.

3 out of 5 eggsgood while it worked

Pros: -Good Price
-Navigation without a data plan
-Free ovi maps and updates for various counties for lifetime(even though it is limited)
-NO Contract
-Good support from Nokia

Cons: -Dead on day 35 after purchase (Will not even turn on).
-Newegg polocy of no return for refund and return for replacement only for 30 days. So after placing the order if you did not like the phone (for whatever reason) you are scr$wed.
-Software is not intuitive, you will need to learn and get used to it.
-Had mailed it to nokia for repair (with my own money) and waiting for the return.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat phone great price!

Pros: Stable os, gps navigation is very good car dock is stable and easy to install. Very rugged design protects the screen if dropped. Browser supports flash and full html.

Cons: OS is outdated not a lot of compatible apps and themes. Doesn't activate with ovi if outside the US. Needs more ram, it lags with multitasking and sometimes acts weird when one application is open and you receive a phone call. Will run out of memory with multiple web pages or one heavily graphic website. You will need a car charger as the gps will eat up the battery. Also some business listings are outdated.

Other Thoughts: For standard gps navigation a few useful apps, occasional browsing and phone, this device is great!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat phone for the price

Pros: Free GPS works great......I have problems and I'm not sure what other reviewers are complaining about. I own all brands of GPS devices and this works just fine, plus it's free (I don't have a data plan.....that was the whole reason for me getting this phone!). Voice calls sound and work great.....battery life is good. I really have no big's a good phone for the price!

Cons: If you are a heavy texter, you might it a little clumsy (multiple screens to navigate just to send a message), but I'm ok with it. Battery life suffers if you leave bluetooth on, but that's the same with all phones.

Other Thoughts: I got this phone on Black Friday at a great price. I really have no far it's one of the most troublefree phones I have. And yes, it IS a NOKIA phone (contrary to some other reviewer....not sure why some people post crud).

3 out of 5 eggsNokia Nuron First Nokia I Absolutely Hate

Pros: The navigation on it was very cool and worked well

Cons: It auto deletes text while in the middle of writing them. Had to return the phone twice and was still having the issue. It kept shutting off on its own. The speaker would come off crackly sometimes.

Other Thoughts: I was just overall very disappointed with this phone. Im a huge nokia fan and have had like 6 or 7 nokia phones in my life. From the old bar phone to the N900 and by far this is the worst phone i have ever had. If you are planning on buying this take my advice and spend the $140 on a different Nokia phone
