5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: First, this is a phone! Not a game pad, if you want to play games, then go with iPhone and Andriod. I don't know why ppl complain about limited selection of app in Symbian. How many 3rd party app do you need in Symbian? Let me list all pro in Nokia 808:
1: Camera. crazy 41MP. Not available in Android or iPhone
2: Map. FREE map crossover the WHOLE world. support OFFLINE navigation. Can Android or iPhone do it without any extra payment?
3: Battery. Can you find another smart phone hold more than one day without charging? ONLY Nokia Symbian can do it. If it runs out in a day, never mind, just replace the battery with a full charged one. Can android or iphone replace their battery?
4: FM radio. You won't realize how important of this feature until you are facing a Christmas time power outage. Only some Android phones have this feature.
5. True multitask OS. Symbian becomes the only true multitask OS since windows mobile has been dead. You can use your phone as car recorder when you are playing music through BT and taking navigation from Nokia map. Not for iOS and Android. (Note: iOS7 claims to be a new true multitask OS. Didn't have a chance to test it yet. This statement might not be true anymore)

Cons: 1. terrible build in browser. Have to use Opera
2. "limited selection of App", But how many do you need? or how many do you use daily?
3. WIFI hot spot is not supported in North American(carrier regulation). You have to hack it to make it work.
4. No 4G support. But do we really need 4G?
5. The only true CON. Starting from 2014/1/1, Microsoft (yes, it is Microsoft) discontinues all update for Symbian platform and forces to close ONLINE app shop for Symbian. Good job, Microsoft, GJ!

Other Thoughts: It is the best Camera phone, even hold in 2013.
But I can't recommend to buy this phone. Microsoft killed the whole Symbian platform. Thank you, Microsoft. Let's see how well you can do with WP8.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat camera! So what?

Pros: Great camera
Nokia maps

Cons: - 1 egg for Symbian Belle - lack of applications - even MS Skydrive is with limited features (you can only use it pull contacts and photos for easy upgrade to Windows 8)
- 1 egg for the outdated hardware though the OS is optimized and works w/o lag

Other Thoughts: If you want the best camera merged with phone than go for Nokia 1020

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for some

Pros: This is Phone has without question the best camera of all smart phones. Navigation is great and works without need for cellular connection. It works in nearly (or all?) countries in the world.
Everything else works good and the build quality is high.

Cons: Symbian is on its way out. Therefore, the selection of Apps is small. Symbian Belle is not bad by itself, though.

Other Thoughts: In the US this phone might be the perfect match for a prepaid plan (T-Mobile pay-by-day) and with other SIM cards abroad. If you want an iPhone then this phone is probably not for you. If you need a good camera and a good navigation system then this phone has no competition.
