4 out of 5 eggsGreat phone

Pros: Large, easy to read and operate. Fast! Never a "resuming" screen! Glance screen!

Cons: Camera is so-so, but at least there's a flash and auto focus.

Other Thoughts: This is the RM-995 version of the 1320 and it's SIM-unlocked. This means it will work on any GSM carrier, and more importantly, it has all the LTE bands required for it to work on T-Mobile US. It's the "Latin America country variant", so upon turning it on for the first time, it will display everything in Spanish.
No big deal, just set the language and region to US English. It comes with Windows Phone 8.0 and Black, but the 8.1/Cyan update is already available for it, so run software update a few times, and you'll have Windows Phone 8.1 and Cortana.
To enable Cortana, the phone needs to be set to region: US, language, US English, keyboard: US English. Unless you need them, you can also remove the extra keyboard languages (Spanish and Portuguese) to unclutter the keyboard.
If you want WP 8.1, update 1, you'll need to install and activate Preview for Developers, and sign up for a free WP dev account.

If you want a protective case for it, don't get one with a flipcover covering the front screen. It will mess with the phone's operation (glance screen, double tap to wake will always be activated, draining the battery and causing brief lockups).

5 out of 5 eggsNice Phablet

Pros: Works with T-Mobile 4G/LTE
Great for reading ebooks and watching movies
Super long battery life
SD Storage up to 64GB
Installed Windows Phone 8.1 update 1 developer preview without any issues.
Loaded previously purchased apps without any problems.
Sim card not required. Can be set up as wifi only device.

Cons: Not optimized for T-Mobile network. LTE signal fluctuates between 3 and 4 bars. Same sim card in T-Mobile branded Lumia 925 signal is a steady 5 bars.

I don't care for buttons all on one side, but that's a windows phone issue.

Other Thoughts: Reportedly compatible with Sandisk 128GB microsd card.
Micro-USB port is on bottom so it should fit many of the docks designed for android devices without having to use cables.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome. Everything I asked for!

Pros: -The phone that I got was definitely an RM-995, and i have 5 bars of LTE on T-Mobile as I'm typing this on it right now.
-Huge Screen. Perfect for reading anything from articles to emails to maps. These are my primary uses for phones.
-Great battery life.
-Much thinner than I ever anticipated.
-Durable.. I've dropped it twice already (Once on concrete and once on gravel/sand) without a single scratch on the phone despite the lack of a cover or a screen protector.
-Really fast.
-Ridiculously cheap.
-Not the best camera Nokia has ever made but excellent for a sub- $400 unlocked phone with these specs.

Cons: Can't get to the battery without opening up the phone beyond just taking off the skin.

5 out of 5 eggsLumia 1320.1 rm-995

Pros: Works perfectly with T-mobile 4g.
it's unlocked so you can install beta and developers software . Just gorgeous screen same resolution as most 14" laptops. Much lighter and thinner than I expected

Cons: It's really just a nerfed 1520 so get that if you can afford it.
small 8gb storage so get a SD card if you're a power user

Other Thoughts: I did three nights of research before choosing this phone.
There is a lot of disinformation on the net saying this phone does not get 4g but that is true if you get the UK model 994 if you want a good phablet w/o spending a bunch of money I'd recommend it

5 out of 5 eggsRM-995

Pros: Works with ATT LTE and HSDPA bands.

Cons: Only 8 Gb of memory however you can use an SD card

Other Thoughts: This is definitely the RM-995 Latin American version and has the right bands. I had a RM-994 version before and it did not work well on ATT :( only 2g speeds where I was located. This version I'm actually get 1-2 bars of LTE now and then at my house. and full bars of HSDPA. My previous 920 never received LTE at my house.

Keep in mind this is rated 5 eggs on being a budget phablet.. this is not in the same category as ordering a 1520

5 out of 5 eggsWorks on Tmobile LTE

Pros: Just for those curious this is an RM-995 which is the latin american version. this has the AWS bands for LTE and HSPA+

Newegg's description is wrong it has the following frequencies

LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - RM-995

HSDPA 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - RM-995

Cons: too big for my hands but its so easy to read
