5 out of 5 eggsExtremely Well Built

Pros: Very durable design. Have had this phone since it first came out several years ago. I have dropped it on cement/concrete, thrown it (don't ask), had it slip from my hand and skid against cement many many times. Still works like nothing ever happened. This phone really should have broke a long time ago.

The included software is pretty decent, not exactly cutting edge but works for me. Camera is good. Also has itunes and removable memory. Can charge through mini USB.

Cons: The middle circle button did eventually fall off.

Other Thoughts: Love this phone, not the latest gadget with all the features but will last for a long time.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Right

Pros: This phone is great. Its a phone. Does what it should. I have always been a fan of the motorola software. and this phone has iTunes. but I don't use it. Battery life is excellent. only need to charge it every three days, with average usage.

Cons: Sometimes it buzzes in your ear if you are close to some speakers.

Other Thoughts: good phone. I used to have a razr. liked it then had a htc dash. ugh windows mobile is horrible. glad to have a motorola again

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Phone

Pros: Phone is unlocked and you drop your sim card in and start calling. I used T-mobile. Solid work horse and most of all the extra you want for a phone are very inexpensive.

Cons: There are the old disclaimers, This phone may come with carrier specific software pre-installed, but for the price you can very easily work around those.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again and would recommend to a friend.

1 out of 5 eggsA complete waste of my money

Pros: NONE

Cons: Reception is terrible.

Other Thoughts: I use tmobile, sprint and Boost mobile and Just ended my contract with Att. All of these phones had 1-4 bars in my house but no matter which phone i was using or what service provider i never had 0 bars. This phone goes from 2-0 bars and i have already missed 3 calls in 1 day. Reception completely drops with this phone and in my business i cant afford to miss a call.

5 out of 5 eggsHAD 2 RAZRs NOW HAVE 2 SLVR L7s

Pros: 1) New Egg - came nearly overnight w/ no probs
2) Battery Life - can go entire week on one charge (my usage is moderate compared to some)
3) Candybar Form Factor - a welcome change from high $$ smart phones, min 2yr contracts, and (newly mandatory) costly data plan
4) Built like a tank but does not weigh like one
5) Excellent sound quality compared to my prev Razor

Cons: Very few -
1) For those interested in the iTunes feature: it works well but requires wired ear buds for stereo (note: SLVR L7 is iTunes "compatible" not an iTunes product - but app is easily dwnld 'ed and works w/o a hitch. Do not believe that phone supports any stereo bluetooth headsets.

Other Thoughts: I liked this phone so much that I ordered my wife one too and she loved it - even after comparison shopping for existing subsidized "Smart Phones" deals. It was a far, far better (and cheaper) choice than signing another 2-year contract w/ xx&x - Now I can "walk" at any time and my monthly bills are insanely reasonable... also wanted to use my existing pigtails / chargers. Love this phone! -so much so that even if mine died tomorrow prematurely, I would buy the same phone from the same supplier (New Egg) again.

4 out of 5 eggsAffordable Phone

Pros: Solid construction, vivid screen, and built-in iTunes syncing. Can assign functions to different buttons.

Cons: Number keys are kinda small. 100 song limit in iTunes. Only accepts up to 512 micro sd card. Having to buy an adapter to listen to music.

Other Thoughts: I'm a bike courier and needed a cell phone that could not only replace my broken Razr but also hold up to the trials of the job. This phone is pretty good because unlike the Razr I don't have to flip it open which saves time and it is a better fit into my messenager bag's cell holster.

Put a Invisible Shield on the screen and it seems to be working great.

Phone came in a retail box with a manual and power adapter.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid brick!

Pros: In the age of iPhone I picked this up!!! and love it. It's very simple. Still stylish and solid as brick, something that is important to me. I just like the perfect weight of it.

Cons: I wish I could customize some buttons and also, the layout of buttons makes for somewhat awkward texting experience.

5 out of 5 eggsSo Far, So Good

Pros: - WORKS
- iTap
- Keyboard Lock
- Not a clam shell like the KRZR
- iTunes [Actually pretty cool that I can sync it to iTunes...]

Cons: - Can't figure out how to make it NOT store text messages on SIM card, but on phone memory instead...
- Cannot send/receive MMS messages since on T-Mobile instead of Cingular I'm assuming.

Other Thoughts: I was using a Motorola F3 before this... go look that up on YouTube and pity me. This phone blows that out of the water even though this phone is really just... "a phone to get you thru the rest of your contract without paying an ETF so you can jump the T-Mobile ship and get yourself a Palm Pre."
