1 out of 5 eggsThe worst exp ever

Pros: ZERO customer service

Cons: ZERO customer experiance.
Called emailed no help at all.
I opened a phone it did not work
I could not return it because I opened it
They gave me know help
I paid for ins. out that money
The phone does not even have an IMEI number.
I am done with new egg and I will make it my lifes work to make sure they pay multiple times over in business than it would have cost them to take this phone from heck back.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't bother

Pros: Fingerprint reader (Read cons)
Unlockable Bootloader

Cons: Stuck on Android 2.3 forever with no plans to upgrade to 4.0

Fingerprint reader WILL die within the first year, guaranteed.

Digitizer will start going bad within 1-2 years.

Motobloat (Motoblur)

Other Thoughts: Do not bother buying this phone. For 10 dollars more you can get an unlocked Nexus 4 which is literally better than this phone in every single way imaginable. Motorola has a horrible track record carrying through on their promises to customers, I will never buy another Motorola phone.

3 out of 5 eggsMotorola will not update to 4.0

Pros: Smaller phone (which I like). Is not lightning fast but it is usable. No problem installing and using apps. Battery setting is maximum power savings I get through the day without a problem.

Cons: Motorola said that it would be upgraded to 4.0 and then changed there mind. This is the second Motorola phone I own that they did this. When introduced it was the flagship AT&T phone but has been sent to the wayside by Motorola. Stuck on 2.3.

This is NOT a 4G phone. It runs on their 3G system. I mainly surf

Other Thoughts: Burned twice by Motorola. Time to move on to a different brand.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fingerprint sensor is awesome.

Tons of memory.

Cons: Super long boot time.

Have had a couple issues with crashes (not sure if a phone issue or issue with some random android app).

Other Thoughts: Received as replacement for one that died almost immediately. No such problems with this one.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst Phone I've Ever Had..

Pros: Fingerprint reader is unique, nice pictures from a smartphone of its time, menu layout was nice.

Cons: The phone may advertise with a nice set of features however there is false information associated with this phone, I was never able to connect with 4G as it advertised and I had two, now I have a newer smartphone and it connects to 4G just fine and I get better reception and call quality. That being said, this phone doesnt get very good signal compared to other smartphones. However 6 months into owning this phone, I experienced freeze ups and lagging not just in applications but making phone calls and texting. This happened with two NEW atrix devices. The first one I had started burning itself and locking up. The battery capacity also went out the window after just six months and only charging on a nearly dead battery as is recommended by professionals. The build quality is very low, you can literally twist the phone with almost no force and anywhere you press on the shell you can hear the plastic just squeeze and pop.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy this phone again if you paid me to. I wouldn't even use it as a backup.

3 out of 5 eggsMisrepresentation

Pros: Slick design, easy setup. So far, battery life has been impressive. The phone is decent, just not worth the premium price for extra features and accessories that don't exist.

Cons: I decided to splurge on this phone because I miss listening to the radio when I walk.

There is no radio.

There is no hdmi cable either.

Other Thoughts: Though I have purchased computer parts from NewEgg for years, they have proven themselves not up to the task of selling cell phones. Their response to my plight was to shrug their shoulders and blame the manufacturer. I can barely stand this excuse when they feed it to me about some silly printer or cable, but a near $400 cell phone?

In the past I have purchased cell phones at retail establishments where I could clearly see, and even handle, all items before finalizing the purchase. I looked forward to reading descriptions rather than traveling from store to store. This time and energy saving technique could work fine, but not with a vendor who is disinterested in the completeness and honesty of its product descriptions.

Can the second largest e-tailer in America really not afford to hire some kid to open boxes and check the toys? Get over yourselves already, I spent 4 days w/o service to give them my cell phone business and there thanks is to rip me off.

3 out of 5 eggsNice phone, but plenty of problems with performance and support

Pros: Latest technology, Fast dual 1GHz processor, HDMI out, good HD video recording, good picture quality in daylight, good call quality; Nice HD dock with full HD(!) screen window Mozilla Firefox/picture viewer; Crisp screen; Great navigation app from Google & car dock-charger.

Cons: HANGS when playing music/video, camera flash is weak, advertize MotoBlur device location service does NOT work after one successful use (service ticket left unresolved); Short battery life; Expensive battery replacement; Fingerprint scanner is dumb-slow and crashes once a month.

Other Thoughts: Owned over 6 months and with mixed feelings. Not impressed with performance and hangs, quite impressed with features.
Requires manual paring with remembered Bluetooth headset after coming in range; Most protective cases do not support car dock or HD dock.
Any call to support quickly goes to [lest wipe your device and start over]. ALL YOUR DATA and apps/logins will be gone, so NO thanks for such support.
Only one person's fingerprints are stored, PIN alternative is OK.

(Unmodified Android 2.2 on AT&T, bought from AT&T on pre-sale, over-the-air upgraded to Android 2.3 by AT&T in July 2011, Not a refurb.)

5 out of 5 eggsGot 2 Atrixes (or Atrices?)

Pros: Top notch. People GET OFF OF i*Phone fad.
I already posted a detailed review at my Carrier's site, now too busy to list Pros again here, but in a few words:
Dualcore nVidia Tegra chip, HDMIout, Android OS, GorillaGlass, superb technical specs mixed with superb aesthetics, car dock rocks!, Laptop dock/external keyboard/HDMI - it is NOT a phone, but a little COMPUTER !
Moto Atrix is now doing same as Moto RazrV3xx back in 2004-2008, I guess Motorola is "back iin saddle again".
I did blast Motorola when they came out with a poor product a few times since RazrV3xx era, but "Atrix" is a marvel, worthy of my money.
I guess you get what you pay for, but under a Contract w/Carrier it's not even pricey - except I had to buy one Unlocked for parents as their upgrade option was already used up on Samsung, and regretted it after trying my Atrix :) ! So I got them Atrix instead, despite Unlocked price.
No i*Phone for me anymore!

Cons: No Cons for 'Atrix" per se. There're cons which apply in general to ALL Smartphones, and it is as you all know:
However, do NOT run stuff you don't need and you'll be fine. E.g. I don't need BluTooth, Wife, etc. much of the time, so I shut them off via various settings, I set display brigthness to MINIMUM, etc. too long to explain but it does last as long as my old Razr regular phone, so it is NOt a con.
Just a warning - smartphones use more energy (obviously, due to larger display, etc).

Other Thoughts: I work for a company who'd benefit from Motorla's downfall. So I am not just non-biased towards Moto, in fact I am can be expected to be "anti Motorola". But that covers Semiconductor chips.
Despite this fact, hands down I love "Atrix" same way I enojoyed several years of raxrV3xx who would sustain cellphone convos on a remote beach far away from Cell towers whereas all other phones I tried failed to pick up weak RF radio signal. Moto makes some good RF front end chips, and 'Atrix" lives up to my expectaion of being not just a Smartphone but also a superb regular phone.
Speakerphone beats i*Phone by the way.

5 out of 5 eggsAtrix is almost a must have phone

Pros: 1Ghz dual core processor, Customizable roms, docks, gps card dock, easily rooted, runs emulators seamlessly, play hd movies and video games on big screen tv, portable gaming and home console system, excellent phone, Android os is amazing. Can link with laptop dock and be rooted to give you full ubuntu exp from your phone.

Cons: Wish battery life was longer but it last all day assuming you aren't running a playstation emulator or something that is heavy, advanced task killer is a must have app(Kind of a downfall with android that it doesn't automatically close programs even when you hit close) Wish it had the new 2gb or 4gb ram chip. Gets hot.

Other Thoughts: The phone is by far amazing and I suggest definitely getting a screen protector and case right away although I dropped my phone a few times before getting a case and the gorilla glass on this phone is simply amazing and holds up well. Emulators play back wonderfully and the custom ginerbread rom from xda forums is almost a must so that you can hook your phone directly to your tv and do webtop over your tv. After which using an emulator you can full screen your mobile view on your phone and connect a wii mote and play with up to 4 of your friends essentially turning this into a portable gaming system. It's great to play super smash again. Also there is a webtop hack that removes the limitations of the webtop and gives you a full ubuntu desktop(still in testing and can brick your phone), the fact that it's even possible though is amazing. I can't describe in words the endless capabillites of this phone and I hope it continues to be supported. Don't get an iphone get this phone!!!!!!!!!!!
