4 out of 5 eggsNice Phone

Pros: Keyboard
HSPA on (on AT&T)
Nice sized touch-screen
Battery life appears to be good

Cons: No CDMA radio (as listed in the advert when I bought it).

Android 2.2 - (It appears that only the Verizon version can be upgraded to Android 2.3. This phone is NOT the Verizon version)

Other Thoughts: Newegg advertised this phone as having a CDMA (Verizon) radio, as well as an (unlocked) GSM radio.

I was sent a European (GB) version of the phone which is only GSM.

The reason I bought the phone was to use it primarily on CDMA (Verizon MVNO), and sometimes on GSM (AT&T and International).

As you can imagine, I am not happy with the purchase !!!

1 out of 5 eggsVery Dissapointed

Pros: Keyboard & Global ready. But...

Cons: Freezes, hangs, needs constant battery removal to reboot. Camera lacks quality. Slow Android OS on it. Motorola Blur bloatware that cannot be installed..

Other Thoughts: Took this phone to the overseas with high expectations after Verizon had provided the unlock code to use with other SIM cards. But the unreliability of this phone was a disappointing at times when I needed to place calls or even use the camera for that matter.

1 out of 5 eggsA disappointing purchase.

Pros: This is well designed and good looking phone plagued by a known problem (see below).

Cons: Be aware that at least this unlocked phone is warranted by a company called PDAGiant that has a bad reputation with the BBB. My sound on my phone stopped working after I installed the included headphones and it took some detective work to find PDAGiant. Their solution was to probe in the headphone jack with a narrow wooden stick. Needless to say I'm not going to do this on a new and expensive phone. I finally got the speaker working after a lot of research on the net. Be aware this a problem with Motorola Droid phones and there is no permanent solution.

Other Thoughts: I am disappointed in New Egg for doing business with a company like PDAGiant and would recommend you look elsewhere for an unlocked cellphone.
