5 out of 5 eggsVery Cool Phone

Pros: This phone rocks! It is small, durable. The aluminum case gives it a nice weight and feel as well as protects it. The touch screen is beautiful and very responsive, great color. The slide function is nice and solid, holds its place, battery life is good, 2-3 days before charges. Nice to have a 3.5 headphone jack, you don't need a funky adapter. GPS/WIFI/BLUETOOTH have great signal ranges.

Cons: The keyboard is small and hard to get used to, the back light for it is weak, not that bright. Some WM bugs but that's not due to the phone.

Other Thoughts: Firmware updates help the phone speed up, the device is really made by HTC so quality is good.

5 out of 5 eggsX1 is amazing!

Pros: Outstanding performance. The panel system is unique and effective. Extremely "mod-able" phone system. Sound quality is the best I've heard. Very visually pleasing phone. Automatically configured itself for use on my carrier's network!

Cons: Windows Mobile will freeze periodically no matter what you do. Bluetooth is a little testy.

Other Thoughts: This particular model is the X1i for those of you doing research. I have flashed new ROM in which made the phone MUCH faster and more interesting! Keyboard does take a little getting used to, but its not bad at all! I still can't get over the fact that I have one of these now. Even though its very VERY expensive, I still think I made the right choice!

5 out of 5 eggsWow...

Pros: It's been a while since I've used a windows mobile phone. I didn't want to ever go back to one, I came from a blackberry Curve 8230 to this phone. The difference is striking. The Xperia's processor and memory are bar none amazing. The internet combined with AT&T's top notch 3G speed creates the fastest experience i've ever used on a Cell phone. This thing blows Palms and Blackberrys out of the water. The X-panel (Sony's custom xperia menu interface) is one of the greatest things I've ever used on a Cell phone. It's fast, easy and one of those features you thought you'd never need but want it anyways. The "fish" feature, which gives you 4 fish that are live and active on your desktop, moving around freely represent your battery life, service bars, notifications, and time of day. It's really striking to see such a great little idea used. I was never a big fan of Sony Ericsson phones. But I believe this will be one of the last phones I ever own. Arc slider is like butter. Battery life A+.

Cons: Well this is the only thing I don't like about the phone... The keyboard and keys are placed out extremely well. Everything is spaced and leveled nicely, but the keys just feel a bit to low for me. I can still type very fast on it but certain keys like the spacebar I find myself once in a while having to press it in a more direct spot. BUT! I've noticed it's been getting easier and easier. My guess is that it's because I came from a Blackberry curve, where the keys are all right there not even having to look at. So it's not really too much of a big deal.

Other Thoughts: The price tag is big. That's going to hold alot of people back from this phone. But if you're like me, you funded it by selling your old phones. Was a risky move. I was scared to not like it as much as my Blackberry. But so far it's the best phone I ever owned. Hope this review helps any 2nd guessers.

5 out of 5 eggsSony Ericsson Xperia X1

Pros: Phone is as expected. Love this phone the minute I saw ads for it. Always been a fan of Sony Ericsson phones. I do not think it will disappoint me...

Cons: None for now...

Other Thoughts: I just got the phone a day earlier than expected. As usual newegg always delivers. Playing with the phone I am already pleased how it works. It meets all my expectations. The phone is very sexy. I am very happy with my order.
