Please read the product description carefully for all unlocked cell phones.

Some unlocked cell phones sold by Newegg may have previously been locked to a specific carrier. A carrier-locked cell phone may often have carrier-specific applications and branding. Some of these applications cannot be unlocked and/or may not function with a different carrier. Also, applications requiring a data plan may result in data usage charges from the original carrier.

In addition, the cell phone box may arrive unsealed and the cell phone may appear previously handled. The unlocking procedure requires unsealing the box and manually handling the cell phone. In this case, the cell phone should not be considered "tampered with" or "defective".

2 out of 5 eggsBought, what a mistake

Pros: Great hardware, I had a dell venue android for 2 years, similar phones except for the key pad.

Cons: At least this version of windows phone operating system stinks. Maps is glichy and not very accurate (and getting directions is more awkward the Google Maps) took me down a one way street wrong way, and addresses were all over the place. Does not allow you set preference easily and locks you out of file system all together. Apps can be easily put within tile system but when driving phone sometimes has a mind of its own when using GPS, calls come in and phone will darken everytime your finger goes near thinking you are putting it on your ear (yes I removed the protective plastic, still did same thing). Contacts are combined in an awkward array of social media etc. and finding a phone # more difficult than the android which is more straight forward and has the ability to filter contacts. Even setting up favorites (familiy) is limited to only a certain # (WHY) overall just a clumsy phone, they need to side by side test their phone with competitors and make notes, not rocket science just good QA MS

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Phone

Pros: this phone is FAST. more responsive than my current nokia lumia 900. and upgrades fine for win mobile 7.8 (7.10.8858.136) you must force update.

Cons: price... is high for a 3g phone. but after all its dell

Other Thoughts: over all this phone will have a good resell price... dell holds its value. get an otter box.

4 out of 5 eggsA finger for CRAPPLE

Pros: Have been using this device for about a year, just love it! The Win 7.5 platform is so awesome. Every information is right there on the screen, you don't even need to click on the icon to review. Finding things are easy because everything is done your way. The phone is solidly made, no plastic or cheap feeling stuff.

Cons: A little too solid and heavy, it feels like a brick in hand (make me feel safe in NYC. I have got a brick and I am not afraid to use it!)
Could use more apps.

3 out of 5 eggsnice phone

Pros: This is a very nice sleek looking phone. Works and runs amazingly fast. Windows OS works really good. Runs on Mobilicity. Talk and Text worked without having to do any setup. Battery life is better then my Nexus S running Andriod ICS 4.0.4. Screen is amazing and responsive.

Cons: Doesn't pick up signals as well as my Samsung Nexus S and logs onto roaming more... Also low signals when I enter into buildings. Data didn't connect until I entered in Mobilicity's APN settings.

Other Thoughts: This is a really nice phone and Windows OS has shocked me. I started out an apple iphone user then moved to Android and Windows has really impressed me as I thought I would never own one but after reading reviews and seeing this on sale especially since the phone works for Mobilicity / Wind I had to try it and I am quite happy. I just wish it had better reception.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing value phone

Pros: Gorgeous Amoled display, beautiful elegant design and feel, and an O/S which is fast and responsive. Facebook, Xbox live, and Office integration is awesome. Works with Wind and Mobilicity. Bing maps has turn-by-turn directions with a simple method of previewing your route by scrolling through the direction list.
Microsoft has done an outstanding job of making Windows phone a pleasurable, premium experience. And you don’t have to pay for Angry Birds, you can get the same free version that you get with iPhone if you click the "Try" button, though the newer editions like "Rio" are not yet available.
We are now entering the price points that used to belong to the iPod touch and dedicated GPS devices. With cheap Pay-go plans from Wind (unlimited text and incoming calls for $5/month is awesome), there is no reason to own an iPod touch anymore.

Cons: Camera is unusable for indoor or low light shots. Battery life is mediocre. Loud crackle and pop when plugging in earphones. Comes with original version of Windows 7 and requires several hours of updates using the Zune software connected to a PC. Dell uses a low-cost micro-sd card for main storage. The entire 8GB are available for storage of apps and music, so there must be an undisclosed amount of fast NAND dedicated to the O/S. This really doesn’t affect the overall experience of the phone, but has noticeably slower install and launch times for large apps compared to the Nokia Lumia 710.

Other Thoughts: Being an iOS fan, I really wanted to hate windows phone. I ended up loving it. The total end-user experience rivals that of iPhone and is much better than Android and is arguably the most beautiful experience if you can get over the bland home screen. It’s so good that we decided to buy another windows phone. The Dell Venue Pro is for my wife and makes a perfect ladies phone, but it’s a little too gangsta for a teenage boy, so we opted for the Nokia Lumia 710 which was the same price at 229.99. Comparing the two phones, the Dell has a much more expensive look and feel and a vibrant display compared to the LCD ClearBlack display on the Nokia. Both displays are equally difficult to read in direct sunlight. Nokia uses a soft plastic which feels nice, but uses a plastic button bar instead of the capacitive buttons on every other Windows phone. Though the Dell doesn’t feel heavy when you hold it, you really notice the weight difference when compared to the Nokia. Other advantages of the No

5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal on a QUALITY product

Pros: Works on Wind Mobile - what a deal for $220.

Large, bright screen. Incredible build quality.

WinMOB 7.5 is a very nice smartphone OS. Better UI than iOS & Android - nice workflow.

Everything is FAST. Comes with Office (Word & Excel).

Great sound quality on phone. Great sound quality (phone) when connected to Kenwood deck's via bluetooth.

Cons: Battery life seems short. I think I would need 3 batteries for a 8-12 hr. day, if didn't have car charger. Pros (above) entices one to use this phone a lot.

Is a little heavier than other phones, but okay.

Very few free apps. Angry Birds cost money!

Other Thoughts: Phone seemed brand new to me. All initial plastic stick/wrap on all surfaces of phone. As one reviewer noted, appears original rectanglar seal removed and resealed with round. (Perhaps done to remove the T-Mobile SIM card, which is listed on box content.)

I am thinking of buying two more for kids@unversity. Great deal @ $220 for a state of art smartphone.

5 out of 5 eggsThe perfect phone

Pros: I wanted to try a new OS out and found this phone, it's really fast and works very well. The hardware is very durable and the screen look amazing.

Cons: Micro SD card is behind the warranty sticker, not that big of a deal because it has 8 gigs... It's my only complaint though.

Other Thoughts: I have T mobile and it works very well, 3g and everything

5 out of 5 eggsGood phone

Pros: I find this phone well designed from the physical as well as from the software perspective. I think it is easy to use, even if people are not tech savvy.
It took me probably 1 hour to set everything up that I wanted and to figure out all the details regarding messaging, phone, contacts, calendars. I have read some reviews regarding the insufficient camera quality, but I did not find it to be insufficient. I went on a business trip and took some pictures inside the building with regularly lit area and the quality was nice and crisp, not blurry or anything at all.
I got this phone as an upgrade and I am happy with it. I have received just positive comments for the phone, so it definitely is interesting to people.
It has a very responsive touchscreen and the speech recognition (commands) works surprisingly good. All-in-all, fun phone to use.

Cons: Just as most shiny touchscreen phones, it is sensitive to finger prints.
To move data between your computer and the phone using Zune software is kind of weird. Almost like Apple products with iTunes. Takes some getting used to since I haven't used Zune software in the past and I actually had to look something up online on how to move things around when the device is connected to the computer.

Other Thoughts: With an average daily usage of the phone, few texts, few phone calls, pictures, calendar etc., the battery lasts me for about 3 days and then I just recharge it since it is showing ~25% capacity that is left.
The processor does warm up the device on the back side as you start using it intensively, but nothing that is uncomfortable.
Keep in mind that this device is little heavier than what you may be expecting, so test the weight out in your hand using something else before you buy it so you know if you want it or not. The weight does not bother me personally.
Wi-Fi seems to be working good as well. Some people have said they wished the keyboard was on the longer side of the phone rather than where it is, but I don't use it so I don't mind. I use the touchscreen when I write stuff by turning it to the side-view which makes the key bigger.
It has many features (read the specs) and I would recommend this phone to my friends.
