5 out of 5 eggsGood phone

Pros: works with att us, like it should, paid 79$, came with microsd card installed, takes decent photos and vids. Smaller size with good screen. Newegg shipping is the best!

Cons: no cons, does what you pay for. Not a fancy phone.

Other Thoughts: Have a corporate sim card for Att, !st expensive phone won on ebaay would not see any cell towers, sent it back to hong kong and they sent me another one that would not work. I am out shipping!

1 out of 5 eggsAT&T ONLY

Pros: small, cheap

Cons: This was sold as an unlocked phone that could be used with Tmobile. It took me many phone calls to find out from Dell that this phone was manufactured for AT&T and would not get all the services. I can barely make a phone call on this phone. Also it was originally sold in Turkey.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed

Pros: Low cost, unlocked, touch-screen

Cons: Stopped working after 6 month: it now switches on and off at random every 10 min. Shows "no sim card" every now and then, while the sim is always in place. Calls cannot be made.
Impossible even to find a number for Dell cell support.

Other Thoughts: Terrible product with no Dell support. I missed on the warranty issue that it was 90 days only.
However, neither Dell nor New Egg should have offered such a low quality item, even for $1. Do their marketing staff forget that there is something called Reputation?!

4 out of 5 eggsFirst review of a 2 year old disreputable phone? Yes!

Pros: WiFi, GPS, Android and unlocked for < $100. That's not only hard to beat, from my experience it's currently impossible to beat. Bought for my daughter as her first smartphone, it's good looking and functions. Frankly I keep GPS turned off, seems like a waste of battery without a good need for it. And we turn off wifi if she's not actively using it. Touchscreen seems good. But really, for what it IS, it's a pretty darned good smartphone.

Cons: Don't expect any upgrade from Android 1.5, it's all but abandoned by Dell and deep searches on Google all failed in finding any reliable method of upgrading it on my own. But it's < $100. Battery is very limited. Expect to charge nightly (if not more often!). But it's < $100. Camera is poor. But it's < $100. Single USB connector for headphones, charger AND computer connection. Not a big problem, but you can't charge while listening to music. But it's < $100. Also the AC has an odd adapter that's required to plug in and thus hangs out of the outlet precariously. But it's < $100.

Other Thoughts: My daughter is at the age where texting has become a requirement and thus she needed a decent phone. Her grandpa gave her $100 recently so we were looking for a phone with a hard limit of $100. Also one with wifi as I'm not going to be allowing data over cellular for cost reasons. This phone had all the requirements I needed, and some features that I'd hoped for. While I don't believe that a touchscreen is optimal for texting, it works and certainly beats the phone-keyboard on her old "dumb" phone (hit 2 three times to get a C etc.). It's also one of those phones that change to "landscape" mode when you turn it on it's side so the keyboard is easier to use.

Bottom line - I gave it 4 stars because it has many flaws BUT it's < $100, has WiFi and runs on (old) Android. Others hate this phone, I know from research, but my daughter is quite happy with it.
