4 out of 5 eggsGreat Phone did what I wanted

Pros: Provided exactly what I needed - a good inexpensive unlocked GSM phone to use overseas with multiple SIM cards. Compared to the new smart phones the Blackberry 9000 is nothing special but it still can get the job done.

Cons: Older phone but I knew I wasn't going to get a new iphone for what I was looking to pay. This phone is still very functional at it's base level.

Other Thoughts: Bought two of these unlocked phones for Europe so my girlfriend and I wouldn't have to buy low quality, overpriced prepaid phones when we arrive in Europe. Received them in the mail today. Unlocked AT&T World phones might be refurbished but really couldn't tell as they both look brand new. Slid a T-Mobile SIM card inside and they both worked like a charm.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Phone

Pros: I got this phone to replace my HTC Fuze. Coming from Windows Mobile phones, this review may be a bit biased. The Bold runs great; it has great functionality, a beautiful screen, easy to use media management, many device settings (font size, color, face, etc) and rarely lags while in use. Speakers on the device are excellent, with load and clear sounds.

Cons: Speakerphone quality isn't the best, WiFi could have better functionality, but it runs. Free apps would be nice but can be dealt without. Browser is decent but could be upgraded.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great phone, definately worth the purchase. Especially if coming from a WM6 phone ;)

2 out of 5 eggsDissapointed

Pros: Nice screen, Nice looking, Appears sold

Cons: Poor call quality in Phila metro area. Terrible call echo. I have had 2 units replaced via warranty exchange. Back cover falls off. Apps, which are free on iphone cost money on BB. Fonts in apps are terribly small. Att navigation is impossible to see the text. 3G browser is terrible.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to like the Bold, but I gave in a got the iphone. After being a longtime BB user, I adapted and I am now over the crackberry addiction.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Phone

Pros: Your buying a "Rogers" Unlocked phone The one i got works great. I put my sim card in & worked right out the box no need to download any settings. No Hassle. GPS,TXT,INTERNET,WI-FI...etc What else is their more to say. My old phone doesn't even compare to this :)

Cons: Media Card Slot - Its a pain to add & remove the card

Other Thoughts: Buy the skin to protect it.

2 out of 5 eggsNot as pictured

Pros: It's unlocked, nice screen.

Cons: Branded by Rogers (Canadian carrier) and not as pictured.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg shipped me a carrier-branded model and isn't really moving very quickly (1-2 business days) to tell me whether they're all like that (which is not what the product pictures show) or whether or not they messed up. My order was Next Day Air as well so this is really putting a crimp in my day...
