Pros: This phone is great! The hardware boost and makes this phone not only fast, but fun to use. The camera is much faster and takes better pictures than the older Blackberry devices. I also love it because it supports virtual any GSM band in the world, meaning I can get 3G or better speeds anywhere I travel internationally.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: The other reviewer (who's tech level needs to be dropped to zero) wrote a review on the 9800 model (not the 9810!) which is slower and has similar hardware as the much older models. This post needs to be removed as the 9810 was only released 2 months ago. His review states he has had his for "just over a year". This is an unfair misrepresentation of the phone on this page. Newegg, please correct this.

Tech Level: 3/5
Ownership: 5/5
Rating: 1/5Avoid BB at all costs!
Pros: Not much in the "pro" catagory with BlackBerry
Cons: Browser crashes most of the time, phone freezes, keyboard gets glitchy all requiring "battery pulls" to reset the device. As of the BB world wide service fiasco the phone is crashing randomly, almost daily and rebooting itself. There are very few app makers (no flash support) even remotely entertaining the BB OS (any version) anymore. Their customer service is virtually non existant and no help at all.
Other Thoughts: I've had my Torch 9800 for just over a year now. When I got it, it was BlackBerry's "latest & greatest" device and all of their notorius bugs were supposedly fixed. I am now learning that this was not true. My Torch like every BlackBerry before it is suffering from their notorious deterioration and it is only a year old. This phone has never been dropped, exposed to water or damaged in anyway, yet it has become an unreliable nuisance. I would not buy a BlackBerry again, even if they managed to find a way to become more current and competitive with other smartphones. They are nice at first, but fail quickly and can't be relied on to last the 2 years most carriers require before upgrading. Don't be a fool like me, look elsewhere for your smartphone needs. Gave it 1 egg for the first 10 or so reliable months it gave me, but it eally doesn't deserve that.
