Please read the product description carefully for all unlocked cell phones.

Some unlocked cell phones sold by Newegg may have previously been locked to a specific carrier. A carrier-locked cell phone may often have carrier-specific applications and branding. Some of these applications cannot be unlocked and/or may not function with a different carrier. Also, applications requiring a data plan may result in data usage charges from the original carrier.

In addition, the cell phone box may arrive unsealed and the cell phone may appear previously handled. The unlocking procedure requires unsealing the box and manually handling the cell phone. In this case, the cell phone should not be considered “tampered with” or “defective”.

2 out of 5 eggsMogul

Pros: As a phone it's terriffic. Decent camera quality, good internet when WAN is available.

Cons: Very slow operations. Windows Mobile runs terribly on this phone (perhaps all phones, I don't know). When relying on Sprinternet the speed is even slower. More or less not usable. If you don't keep the case, your pocket will press buttons all day reducing the effective battery life to squat.

Other Thoughts: A newer HTC phone may be far superior.

3 out of 5 eggsMogul

Pros: QWERT, fast internet, tons of features and additional apps available.

Cons: SLOOOOWWWWWWWW. WinMobile is bad......real bad. It eats apps for breakfast then gets sick and sits on the can all night. Ive many times had to physically check after a restart to see if there are programs running that I didnt open but its just WinMobile bein such a hog. Phone would be so much beter running a less processor intensive OS.

Other Thoughts: Its a good phone, when it works. It wore out on me and started getting an issue with the screen not working when flipped open. Many of the buttons on the original version wouldnt read while typing. After upgrading to the WinMobile 6.1 now it reads them ok but some buttons hit mutliple times without multiple clicks. Can be a frustrating phone but nice too.

Pros: amazing little phone. I paid full retail to keep my self out of a contract and so far its been good.
I recomend you get insurance for this phone.
see other thoughts.

Cons: Video is a tad slow at this time.
Spint has locked out a few things but can be changed with out voiding warrenty.

Other Thoughts: I've messed up a few times because im 1 of those that mods stuff and flashing has gone wrong user error.
has GPS and EVDO rev A the 2MB download speed with a good connection i was doing about 1.2MB avg.
Newest update needs a cell connection to connect the GPS its to speed things up but can be fixxed to not need it.
Video play back is better remember to use Raw Frame Buffer for playing videos or games.
There is a new 3D driver but Sprint wont put it in the phone Omega3d goggle it and you will be all set to play games.

5 out of 5 eggsfunction over form

Pros: internal gps receiver - ev-do - tons of software available - syncs with outlook (contacts sync with your pc - i/nav gps can use these contacts as destinations) - bt works for external gps receiver, keyboard and mouse - (yes, those squirrely bt headsets work too)

Cons: the qualcom chipset video driver is disabled - users are working to get the driver enabled (video works but the internal driver is said to enhance the video by offloading that function)

(ev-do was a function that was not available on the original phone but was later enabled - same for the internal gps receiver)

Other Thoughts: i got this phone when it first came out so i have reflashed it a few times. my favorite application is that i stream my slingbox/pro to the phone. full access to my cablebox/dvr. its also nice to have a gps that can be used in any car.

2 out of 5 eggsMogul

Pros: Endless possibilities with software. Software is great that comes with the phone. WiFi is awesome! Mooch off of some public WiFi and you have a very small laptop in the palm of your hand. You can do anything with this.

Cons: Touchscreen died after 6 months so in order to get anywhere, one had to do everything the hard way with the buttons. Many of the buttons went bad too. Mostly on the bottom of the keyboard. The down button died too on the face of the phone.

Other Thoughts: Short lifetime for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsHTCMogul PPC-6800

Pros: Excellent keyboard, touch sensitivity, speed, overall a great little PDA Phone. 8GB SDHC card confirmed with the upgraded ROM. Settings -> Task Manager -> Button -> End programs by tapping "X" ... That clears up the background processes getting out of control. GPS Navigation built in.

Cons: Small touchscreen, and fairly low resolution. On par for this category however. Not really a Con exactly...but For this much money HTC could have made it a bit bigger.

Other Thoughts: With the addition of a few programs, and making a few settings changes the HTC Mogul is one of the best PDA phones available. Spend a bit of money on some software such as Opera browser, Spb Pocket Plus, and Google Maps. This will improve your experience by a great deal. Good luck.

5 out of 5 eggsEggsellent Phone

Pros: Touch Screen & Keyboard are really nice. Supports (not officially) an 8GB memory card. Has WiFi & Bluetooth, a 2MP Camera, Comes with a Carrying Case, Windows Mobile Operating System.

Cons: From the Factory, mine didn't have sprintTV or Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Only has a 512MB Card (Not really a con, just would have liked a bigger one)

Other Thoughts: Went to HTC's Website and got the updated ROM for the phone upgradeing it to 6.1 Professional and adding SprintTV. Added a third party app WMWifiRouter and allows it to be used as a mobile hotspot.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Excellent keyboard, Touch Screen, WiFi, all the Goodies, reports of supporting up to an 8GB micro SD Card (Comes with a 512MB, already ordered an 8GB to see if it works). Sprint Navigation is nice, comes with accessories.

Cons: Mine came with Windows Mobile 6.0 and no Sprint TV, and only a 512MB Card. Takes a while to get used to the touchscreen number pad.

Other Thoughts: HTC has the Upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional on their site ( under support and then downloads; it adds sprintTV. Also get WMWifiRouter, lets you internet share your phone over wifi like a hotspot, really cool.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: High speed in your pocket. Paired with Opera browser you can't go wrong. Fast keyboard.

Cons: WM6. Windows Mobile is just a bunk OS. Background processes get out of control and you have to restart often (I restart about once every other day and I am a power user).

Other Thoughts: Took me a good month or two to work out all the quirks. I am finally feeling comfortable with this phone but it took a while. I got a super deal on this phone.. I would probably be disappointed if I had paid full price.
