Motorola HS 850
- Pros: It is nice design;
Good price for it; If you are not looking for something very spectacular I am saying - go for it
- Cons: It is a bit bigger than I ecxpected and it is not very comfortable on my ear.
- Other Thoughts: My husband have motorola bluetooth and it's the model after this one and I really liked it. I thought that one would be the same size and thats way I got it. To be honest I don't think I will use it.
Works great
- Pros: Pairs quickly, charge lasts quite a long time, sound is great.
- Cons: Ear hook not adjustable. Must be made for mens ears as for me it is very loose and you can't adjust it to make it fit better. After a while you don't feel the weight.
- Other Thoughts: maybe if Motorola included additional ear hooks for different sized ears would be a good idea.
Great BT Headset
- Pros: Good sound, reversible ear piece, paired easy with three different BT phones, talk time is better than 3 hours. All day standby time. Shipped with a mobile charger that worked with my older Moto e815 phone.
- Cons: Charging port - why Moto used this port is way beyond me. They corrected this problem when they went to a modified mini-USB port charger in later models.
The unit is a bit on the heavy side, but nothing too bad.
Wind noise -- any kind of wind blowing will be picked up by the mic. This is especially true in a car with Max A/C blowing (my wife in central Arizona in the summer time).
- Other Thoughts: I bought two from Newegg back in 5/06 -- one was lost after a year, but I still have the second. I replaced the lost one with another HS850.
After three years of use, this BT headset still works great. I recently paired it up with my new phone (LG VX8360) -- connected right up and works as it is suppose to.
Outside of the cons listed above, this is a great headset for someone who wants a handsfree devise at a very reasonable price.
