Blu Studio 5.3 Black 3G Unlocked GSM Android Smart Phone with Dual SIM / Android 2.3 / WiFi

Pros: I am using galaxy note before this one. The major issue with galaxy note is the battery, even using a extended battery, I am not satisfied with it - about 2 days charge interval. For BLU studio, I have 4 days and 12 hours on extended battery, for more than usual use. I read ebook on it, check emails, play games and etc. frequently. This is great for an android phone, thanks to its CPU and low resolution screen.

Cons: Large screen is good for me, though resolution is lower. The speed is OK, but don't expect much for a 800MHz CPU. Internal storage is low, so be selective or your apps.

Other Thoughts: The original apps cannot be uninstalled or moved to SD card. Root it and using root uninstaller to remove it. You can install them from the play store, and you can move some storage to SD card. In this way you can save a lot of storage space. I recommend using the original extended battery and back cover, so it looks prefect.

In addition, I am using NET10 unlimited plan, 3G/HSDPA speed about 1Mbps down and 800Kbps up. Great for prepaid users.

Pros: big screen,that's about it

Cons: order new,newegg sent me used,camera does not work,phone is loading very slow,call newegg for RMA they tell me i have to call CT Miami ,this people have very bad customers service, i call 2 times and still waiting for their email with the instruction how to return the phone, newegg and ct miami take no responsible for their product whatsoever,i spent thousands of dollars on newegg and this time i was regret what i bought and disappoint with newegg customers service

Other Thoughts: pay another 4 more hundred dollars to get samsung galaxy S3 is much better phone

Cons: It's not the fastest, latest greatest, no flash support - BUT, so what.

Other Thoughts: This is a pretty good phone. It does everything I need in a phone and more. A dual sim, large screen GPS, tab phone that fits in my pocket .........

Pros: Battery, Screen, Speakerphone, Dual SIM

Cons: Lack of Flash, 800Mhz

Pros: Huge screen, solid build, amazing battery life. These are the features that I wanted, and this phone delivered on all points. I work in a noisy lab, and this phone is loud. I can hear conversations clearly where other phones have sounded like a whisper.

Cons: Older OS, lack of support from Blu. This phone will likely remain on Android 2.3 It's not a problem, as something like 10% of Android phones are running ICS right now.
At 800MHz, this phone doesn't set any records. It's fast enough for Angry Birds, email, web browsing and so on. I've used it as my daily phone for a couple of months now on T-Mobile (2G Edge), and it's been great.
Forget about custom ROMs - Blu has repeatedly denied requests for releasing a ROM or source code.

Other Thoughts: If you want a large-screen, unlocked phone, this is it. The build quality and ginormous battery make this thing a winner. There are other 5.3 inch phones out there, but they are way more expensive.

Pros: Large Screen with Great Quality for the Price, Android works fast eventhough the processor is under 1GHZ

Cons: First Newegg sent me an open box unit, which already had 8 minutes of use on it according to the phone when I ordered a new one. I could tell immediately it was not new since it was not sealed in the plastic and the power cord was wrapped like someone put it back in the box.

Eventhough this was the case I was not so worried as I have purchased used phones before, and I mainly care of if they work as its not worth the time to complain and send it back. This phone is a great small table with a large clear screen but thats it. As a phone it really sucks! Every person I talked to complained about my voice going in and out and the calls would drop for no reason. I had a dell streak 5 which was a great phone, but it had a battery issue where you can go from 45% power to 1% in five minutes. This phone has a nice big battery and it does lasts but if you need to use it as a phone its simply a piece of junk buy anything else.

Other Thoughts: Save your money this phones call quality is worse then even the analog cell phones of 15 years ago.
