Please read the product description carefully for all unlocked cell phones.

Some unlocked cell phones sold by Newegg may have previously been locked to a specific carrier. A carrier-locked cell phone may often have carrier-specific applications and branding. Some of these applications cannot be unlocked and/or may not function with a different carrier. Also, applications requiring a data plan may result in data usage charges from the original carrier.

In addition, the cell phone box may arrive unsealed and the cell phone may appear previously handled. The unlocking procedure requires unsealing the box and manually handling the cell phone. In this case, the cell phone should not be considered "tampered with" or "defective".

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't turn on

Pros: It's a cheap phone with a lot of features.

Cons: Did not turn on out of the box. I called the warranty support and they did not help at all.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Works perfectly well for phone calls on T-Mobile. Great call / sound quality. Great battery life.

Cons: I guess the camera, but I knew it, so not complaining.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these for family members. For basic phones, at eighteen bucks each, these are great. If you want a fancy phone, buy something else. But I am truly amazed by the sound/call quality for such an inexpensive device.

Don't expect anything from the camera. Don't even bother using it. I guess they had to include it for marketing purposes.

If you need a basic/backup phone, this is a steal when on sale for under 20 bucks.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Cheap Phone

Pros: I moved to this after having an LG Prime for a while because all I use my phone for is making calls using ATT's GoPhone service. Aside from being unlocked to save me some effort my only feature requirements were that it didn't have a touchscreen for dialing (was getting tired of dealing with miscalibrated or broken touchscreens, which is what you tend to get on cheap phones) and that it had Bluetooth support so I could use it with my car's hands-free system.

With that in mind, it works pretty well. I dropped in the SIM card from ATT and it worked with no extra work on my part.

Cons: The Bluetooth works and syncs to my car just fine, but it won't automatically repair whenever it gets near the car like my last phone did. In order to sync it I have to take the phone out of my pocket when I start the car and hit the "Ok" button for it to pair, otherwise it won't. This isn't too bad, but it is easy to forget and then when someone calls while you are busy driving it basically defeats the point of the hands-free system in the first place. This annoyance is essentially the reason for my 1 egg deduction. Otherwise for the price you get a decent phone.

I've had complaints from one friend about an electronic background noise on their end when talking to me. Sometimes they say it is loud enough to make it hard to hear me. On my end the call quality is fine, but I have yet to do any testing with a land line phone or my older phone to see if this phone is the problem. If it is the phone's problem then it deserves a few more eggs off since that is pretty basic functionality a phone would need to get right.

It has very little onboard memory. If you want to add a custom ringtone mp3 you are going to have to buy a miniSD card along with it since there isn't enough space for even a mp3 a couple of seconds long. I payed 8$ for a card from a local store though and now the phone has plenty of space for ringtones and I'm using it as my basic USB drive. At this price point though the memory isn't really a con, just something to be aware of.

It doesn't have a headphone jack. This pretty much makes any music player the phone might have pointless. However, it is a phone, not an mp3 player so again not really a con, just something to be aware of.

Other Thoughts: I haven't used much of the features aside from the phonebook, basic calling, and changing the ringtone settings. The menu system is a bit unique in places, but if you are willing to fiddle with it for half an hour and aren't the type to have a meltdown because a new interface doesn't look like the last one you learned you'll be fine.

2 out of 5 eggsAudio player does not work correctly.

Pros: See my previous review.

Cons: - Audio player does not find music on MicroSD card, and does not populate its list. If one browses through the File Manager and selects an MP3 file, it plays. Most likely due to it not having enough memory.
- FM radio does not find some stations. Oh well.

Other Thoughts: The glass on this thing is not very strong - my child cracked it in the first week. :(

3 out of 5 eggsVery basic. Initial feedback.

Pros: - Quad band, unlocked.
- Dual SIMs.
- Micro SD slot.
- Standard-ish battery.
- Price.
- Lightweight.
- Usual stuff like calculator, alarms, FM, music player, video player are
included. Haven't tried all of them yet.
- Charges via mini USB.
- Works with ATT.

Cons: - No physical volume keys.
- No earphone connection, although this is my fault for not researching more.
If there is a way to get external earphones with the USB connector, there's
no mention of it anywhere to be found. Can anyone from Blu please provide
more information?
- Cannot re-assign the left/right/down keys on the home screen. Up is to
change profile.

Other Thoughts: This phone is good basic World phone. At this price, even if it gets damaged
or lost while travelling, it's no big loss. I would have really appreciated this
phone at any point in the last 5 years of travelling.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is a VERY basic phone. But for what you are paying, its an exceptional deal. This is a dual-sim (I had no idea until it arrived), quad-band, unlocked phone. In my opinion its great for traveling if you already have a carrier locked GSM phone or a CDMA phone. If I broke or lost this phone I really wouldn't care. The call quality is good, speaker phone is loud, and reception is okay. For making calls, it works. Buttons are placed well and have an okay feel. The phone is extremely light, and feels very plasticy. But it seems held together well enough, it could probably take a couple good falls. The charging port is Mini Usb and if you plug it in to your computer it turns into storage device so you can read the MicroSD card.

Cons: The documentation that comes with this phone defiantly leaves something to be desired. Almost none of the features are discussed. I just had to sit down and press buttons until I found out how to use this thing. It took me around 15 minutes to learn how to change the volume in a call. There are no volume rocker keys on the side of the phone so changing the volume of a phone call requires you to go to the screen where you can see the call time and press the left/right buttons on the D-pad. To go back to that screen if you have dialed any number after starting the call you have to press and hold the clear softkey.

I cant seem to find a way to lock the phone other than to set the screen timeout to 5 seconds and wait. Also there is no way to require a screen lock code. It only shows up when you turn the phone on from being completely off. Oh, and no T9. =[

Other Thoughts: I just want to say that my main cell phone is a CDMA iPhone 4. I bought this phone for when I travel. I just wanted something that I could make phone calls and text on. But for what I need it for, its great.
