4 out of 5 eggsRevised after a month of ownership

Pros: I still think the phone is great, and I would still recomend it. The screen looks great, it's crisp and vivid.
Phone calls have good sound quality.
Connects to my car's handsfree, and works great through it.
I have taken videos, and pictures, and they look good for a phone.
The phone looks good, feels as solid as any other phone. It's slim and light.
The price is a bargin for what you get.

Cons: There are NO accessories avalible for this phone. The only way to get a screen protector is to buy a universal one and cut it yourself (I cannot see me doing that).
The specs are poorly defined or straight out lies.
It only has 349680 kB RAM (which translates to 341 MB), not 512MBs as claimed.
The proccessor is stated as 1 GHZ DC. This should mean two 1GHZ cores, but in this case it is two 500MHZ cores.
1 GB of storage is dedicated for the phone, I would like to move half of this to useable storage, without rooting the thing.

If anyone has any information that my RAM and proccessr specs are wrong, please let me know. Especially how you got the information.

Other Thoughts: The phone does actually have 4GB of storage, with 2 GB for user data, 1 GB for phone storage, and 1GB hidden for system use.
My biggest complaints are the RAM and proccessor, as they are clearly mislabeld. In all honesty, for the price, I would buy this phone with the specs, as they are.
The phone still works well, even though the specs are not as high as stated. I will occassionaly get a little lag on some games, but what would you expect from this light of a device?
About the strength of the screen: I do not have any protection for the screen, and keep it into a bowl we toss our keys in (so I do not forget to grab it on my way to work). I keep it outside while chopping wood, building/fixing fences, doing automotive work (I have smeared oil on the thing more than once), and working on (and occassionaly geting to use) my tractor. In short, it does not have a sheltered life. Despite that, I have only managed to put one small scratch in the screen, that I only notice when I am cleaning the phone. To me, that is pretty impressive.
In conclusion, I would choose this phone again for the price vs. the competition and thier price.
For it's value, and function the phone still deserves 5 eggs, but looses one for the specs being exagerated.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent phone

Pros: yes google play store is there..see the shopping bag on the top of the page.
nice bright, clear screen, good t mobile reception..excellent camera easy to use platform
nice to have gps in the phone ready to go

Cons: battery life could be better, skins and screen savers are scarce.save the clear cover as a template

Other Thoughts: this phone offers more bang for your buck than anything else. Company is in USA.you can use prepaid plans keeping your monthly costs low. why pay70 to 90$ a month..

3 out of 5 eggsrevised review

Pros: Same pros as my previous review.

Cons: Same cons as my previous review PLUS:

BLU phones do NOT support Google Play, so be aware of these issues when Google Play services will NOT install on your phone. BLU really dropped the ball on this!!

Lowered my rating to 3 stars.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: This phone does so much more than you can expect for the price range. It is quite comparable to the very high end phones costing 300-700 dollars. In order to accomplish this of course they had to make sacrifices i.e., standard screen with average viewing angle (not LED), 512MB ram (not bad but still it’s not 1-2GB), only about 2 or 3GB of usable memory (I put a 32GB card in so not an issue), but they didn’t cut any corners and did it with a balanced approach. These are the few things that make this not a top of the line phone. While the camera specs aren’t high, the quality seems identical to the Vivo 4.3 which is truly amazing. Skype works perfectly using the front cam. (Both sides are very clear and smooth even without Wi-Fi)
The battery is average which is what you are paying for, but I got about 5 hours of continual nonstop usage running all sorts of apps with Wi-Fi on and the screen on the middle brightness setting. This is a pro considering it’s only a 1300mAh battery.

I used a Straight Talk (AT&T) SIM card and using speedtest.net I was getting about 7081 Mbps Down, 1126 Mbps Up and my Ping was 98ms. (It was lower but then I deleted the Proxy and Port under the APN and achieved these results.)

Overall it’s a very well rounded phone that runs any kind of app you need. I keep forgetting it’s not a Galaxy or a Nexus…

Cons: There are no cons to this phone as I paid $129 and it provided me exceedingly more than anything else I can find near that price range. Moreover, this phone has done more than the description said and has no issues with said specs.

Other Thoughts: The thing about the sticker… well I just pulled it off in one second and my screen is fine. I did not separate the sticker from the screen cover because that takes about an hour (I did that on the Blu Vivo 4.3). If you want to keep the screen protector just saturate the sticker with Goo Gone or whatever you would like to use and gently work it off. You need to wait until it’s a full charge before you use it anyway so this would be a good time to do that. If residue remains there just wait it out and the oil from your finger with eventually rub the remainder off in a few days.

Many places on the internet say this phone is upgradeable to Jelly Bean. They haven’t pushed an update to my phone yet and I don’t expect one. If they did port Jelly Bean though I would not be surprised, just don’t hope for it until you see official word from Blu.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy!!

Pros: Looks good. Cheap price

Cons: However, This phone is a cheap cheap piece of junk. Poor quality all around. Specs say it has 4gb of ROM -it only has 2gb. I added an 8gb micro SD card for better memory. However, the phone often looses track of it and I have to reboot. The Android apps are worthless to me. I will be replacing many of them to "customize" what I like. Documentation is weak and lacking details. Customer Support at BLU is does not exist. Sound quality is POOR. FM radio useless. There is a dead pixal at the bottom of the screen. NO driver for the USB connection to hook up with my PC. Can transfer files via BT but it takes too long. Basically this was a worthless purchase. NEVER AGAIN. NO BLU phones.

Other Thoughts: Save your Money.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Looks nice out of the box. My first impressions are good. I brought up an RPG, and compared it side by side to my Nexus 7, and it played just as well. While I doubt it will be able to go toe to toe with a FPS, it is good for what I need.

Cons: The viewing angle is narrow, but it's a phone so that is not a real issue.

Other Thoughts: I hope I can edit this later, after I have used the phone for awhile. I do not even have service for it yet. But testing it for a few hours as a 4" tablet, it is nice.

The first reviewer (The Count) proves that anyone can claim to have a high tech level. The paper sticker he had problems getting off was not the screen protector. There is a clear screen protector behind the paper sticker. I admit though, it had me concerned for about 15 seconds before I figured it out.

1 out of 5 eggsHow could they be so stupid?

Pros: None

Cons: I have had the phone for roughly a half hour at the time of writing this. The phone came with a sticker from the factory to protect the screen during shipping. The glue used is way to strong for a simple paper screen protector. Removing it marred and scratched the screen to bits. Never got to used the phone. Going for an RMA now. This in unexceptionable.
