Pros: I've been a Samsung smartphone user since the 1st gen Galaxy, then a Note 2. I love the Nexus, because it offers so much style but backs it up with the super fast Snapdragon and 8 cores of processing power. As others have said, you can't understate the sheer speed of stock Android Marshmellow.

I did experience two issues since I bought this phone 4 weeks ago. One, the bluetooth paired to my 2016 Dodge van would work fine for phone, but the streaming audio was very quiet (extremely low volume) in comparison. Also, the deep sleep and doze modes to save battery wasn't working very often. But, the beauty of a Nexus phone is the regular updates from Google. As of the March and now the April updates, both problems are gone! The phone sips power to the tune of less than 1% per hour! And the music streaming works fine in the new Dodge now over BT! I also pair this phone with my Kia and a remote BT speaker in the house and it all sounds/works great!

Lastly, I love me some G O L D! Not the yellowish gold of the Samsung, but a true light Champagne that just looks awesome! No regrets, and best of all, it keeps me contract free on Sprint!

Cons: If I must find a con, I'm a big guy, so the size of the phone seems great to me, especially for the 5.7" WQHD AMOLED which is perfect to my eyes and watching videos on the go. To some, it may seems a bit large!

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend - especially if you want to avoid contracts, pay a minimal monthly plan, and have the freedom to swap to any carrier at any time in the U.S.

Pros: - Sharp high resolution screen
- Loud, clear front speakers
- Awesome color
- Very fast, accurate fingerprint reader
- The latest and greatest from Android including monthly security updates

Cons: - It's only water resistant - not waterproof. But that's still pretty good!

Other Thoughts: Bought this as a replacement for my Nexus 6 which I broke. I was slightly worried with Huawei being the manufacturer but I am genuinely surprised how amazing the build quality is. It's super sturdy and premium feeling without the heft of a brick. I definitely recommend this to everyone. If you like Android phones, it's hard to beat. And if you like the iPhone, you'll be pleasantly surprised by not only how superb the phone is physically - but also what a delight stock Android is like.

Pros: Looks good, specs are there... but I bought last year's Hauwei and it rarely works... after a couple of months.

Cons: Customer service from Hauwei is horrible and mfg. 2 year warranty is worthless. Clueless customer service can't help at all. 0-12 on support cells so far. Impossible to go into everything, but stay away form Hauwei... and sorry to all those I'd recommended Hauwei in the first month I had it... should've waited.

Other Thoughts: Would never recommend Hauwei again. Worthless junk with clueless and nasty customer service.

Pros: Great looking phone with awesome performance. Newegg got my order to me promptly and at a great price. Display is incredibly good!

Cons: No slot for external memory! Big minus for me.
Prefer Samsung's User interface, but getting used to Nexus. Can you stop all programs at once? With S4 you simply hold down the home button until a screen pops up asking if you want to stop all. I find it a nuisance to click on the square, then close each program individually with the Nexus. When you've got 10-15 programs in the background, it just seems like you should be able to stop them ALL at once, like on the Samsung.

Love that it's unlocked, but also wish it was available 'rooted' as well.

Pros: Hardware is top shelf at a mid-level price. Big screen, speakers, responsiveness, camera, speed and accuracy of fingerprint scanner, no bloatware.

Cons: Cannot set individual contact ringtones out of the box - There might be an app for it. Long, cannot reach the top of the screen with one hand.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend. I moved to this from a S4 and love the new phone. I wish it wasn't quite as large and could operate with one hand 100% of the time. Battery life seems equal to or better than the S4. Can use Adobe app to unlock raw features in camera. Seems to work well with Google Fi network - I haven't had a single dropped call. Separate email (AOL) must go through gmail, which doens't work well. Bluemail app works well and solved the problem. Would buy again just for the hardware.

Pros: - Easy to use, sharp screen.

Cons: - wifi disconnection issue, but it can be easily resolved by using 2.4Ghz wifi frequency, just don't use automatic frequency!
- Some apps crash and stop without any reasons.

Pros: Camera is good.
Sound quality is good.

Cons: For phone call, I can not use "Group" feature.
Phone folder can not be accessed, even you told pictures and could not transfer out with USB cable.
Battery is terrible. 25% is gone just after 2 1/2 hours of un-heavy use.
Some apps can not be installed..

Other Thoughts: A MicroSD will be better so you don't need to transfer from old one. If those shortage could not be improved, I will not recommend to anyone.

Pros: - Works on Verizon network - just install Verizon nano SIM and turn it on!
- Easy automated transfer of existing phone apps and data to new phone.
- Clean Android 6.0 Marshmallow interface; no OEM or carrier bloatware.
- Timely security updates
- Fast performance - no lag time
- Excellent battery life - I've gone 18 hours of normal use and still had 30%+ of battery life remaining.
- Fingerprint scanner is great - better than the Note 5.
- Very speedy charging using Google USB Type C chargers and cables.
- The camera is sufficient for my purposes - takes very good pictures.

Cons: - Must take care with accessories since not all Type C cables and chargers are of high quality - bought spares from Google directly to ensure compatibility.
- Get a case that covers the edges completely to protect the finish - a drop slightly marred the matte gold finish in one corner, so I'm buying a new case.

Other Thoughts: - Give the camera a second after clicking the shutter to capture the image.
- This phone does everything I need it to do, and it's fast and capable doing it. Highly recommended!

Pros: Screen, Camera, Sound is loud and clear, pretty fast

Cons: Thin so it makes it harder to handle without a case.

Other Thoughts: Get it! Just Do It!
