5 out of 5 eggsExactly what the description says!

Pros: Feels super sturdy, or maybe it's just heavier than I had anticipated. ;) Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it arrived fully charged which is always a plus.

Cons: None so far that I can foretell.

4 out of 5 eggsIs Fremo out of business?

Pros: No Pros supplied, asking a question.

Cons: Their domain name ifremo.com expired, and their phone number is answered by a generic message with no company name.
NewEgg will not let me add a review or question without supplying a rating ( I randomly chose 4).

Other Thoughts: The 1-year warranty may be unusable.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great for several months

Pros: - Great capacity for the price
- Two amp output options

Cons: - After about 4 months and maybe 7-10 cycles, it will charge fully but will not output a charge or display indicator lights when power button is pushed. It seems the internal circuitry has failed. Short lifespan.

Other Thoughts: - I was very proud of this find for a whopping $10-13 price tag, but it disappointingly lasted for a short few months. If the manufacturer is aware of a fix, please reply to this review.

4 out of 5 eggsI LOVE IT!

Pros: - has light indicator of battery juice with power on/off
- easy to use
- small so you can put in your pocket (slightly bigger than a full deck of playing cards box, or same size as a drinking flask)
- charges my iphone 5s at least 3 times (from 1% to 100%) with the fremo on full charge
- 1 port for 5v/1amp and 1 port for 5v/2.1 amp
- the discharge rate on the fremo is extremely slow, currently I haven't used the battery (still full charge) for a month (for testing purposes for this very review) and it still has 4 lights on (the lights are not defective)

Cons: - my unit did not automatically when it finishes charging my phone OR when it finishes charging itself so I have to unplug the cable myself, this could be a problem for most people (see thoughts)

- takes too long to fully charge the unit, like 17-18 hours for a full charge (I tested a few times), but it could be because I was charging it through my PC, if you do it through a Wall charger, I don't know, it might differ

Other Thoughts: I love this Fremo P100 Plus. It can charge my iphone 5s (from 1% - 100%) with no problem and can do it at least 3 times full charge, and still have a bit of juice left to charge for a few more hours of talk. It has 2 ports as advertised. What I found with this unit is I am amazed at the discharge rate. Even after leaving the fully charged battery for a month without any use, the battery still light up 4 light (4 maximum lights), now that is amazing. I can't test this beyond a month since I would like to use it again, but if I had to guess, this battery probably won't fully discharge for at least 5-6 months long since it is using quality battery (I remember reading somewhere it was using LG cells, but not sure, don't take my words for it, research it). The slow discharge rate is why I love this little guy along with the 2 ports and the juice it held.

For the size, it is slightly bigger than a deck of playing card or if you want an exact size, it's about the size of a metal alcohol drinking flask that people carry around. As for the weight, it's about 1.5 times the weight of a smart phone so no, you do not want to jog/run with this thing in your pants pocket (you can walk with it). This is actually normal as there is no 10,000 mAh external battery out there that will come close to a weight of a smart phone or less, and it has to do with the cell batteries. As long as I can walk with this on, it's fine with me. You can carry this around in your camping/hiking backpack fine, and I'm sure it will recharge your GPS unit just fine (if it takes USB charging).

For the reason why I took 1 egg off is my unit does not automatically shut off (the lights) when it finish charging my phone or when it finishes charging itself. My guess is that my unit is probably defected with that problem. Keep in mind that I only charge this battery through my PC, so it is possible that somehow it did not auto-shutdown when charging is completed, and that it might only works through a wall usb charger (which I don't have). I'm not going to bother returning the unit for this reason because I love everything about this battery and what it can do for me especially the extremely low discharge rate.

HOWEVER, please keep in mind, this COULD be a problem for most people who are worry that overcharging your iPhone or overcharging the battery itself, would it damage devices or catch fire if that happened? How long does it has to go over the charge until the fire starts? And despite it says it has over-charge protection in the chipset, does it really works despite the lights not shutting off? I don't know those answers, but if you remember to check your battery often when it's charging, then I don't think you would have a problem with that.

As with all lithium-ion and lithium-ion polymer battery, you want to use all the juice in the battery before you charge it up. This is to extend the life of the battery cells.

4 out of 5 eggsTests so far so good.

Pros: Lots of power; has charged my Samsung S4 for days so far. Confidence-inspiring weight. Begins charging immediately when connected (their 5200mAH unit does not). Sturdy aluminum case

Cons: Does not include a flashlight. Shape is a little awkward for a pocket

Other Thoughts: Four eggs because I'm still testing, and can't speak to product longevity; and since some similar products have a flashlight, this one deserves a lower rating for not having one.
Apparently contains 10400 mAH of 3.7V cells. That's on the label, so not hidden, but since there are losses when that 3.7V is raised to 5.1V for the output, actual capacity may seem lower. This is basic electronics, not why there's one less egg.
As many days as this has kept my phone charged, I expect it will indeed take hours to charge. A typical phone charger outputs 1A; that's a ten-hour charge time from "empty," before accounting for reasonable losses; a 13 hour charge time would not be unreasonable. A PC's USB 2.0 port outputs 500mA, so double it.
I anticipate buying more of these for friends.

3 out of 5 eggsAdvertising mis-represents the capacity.

Pros: The unit works. It charges your phones and can be recharged easily. It is rugged and well designed.

Cons: The advertising and the box say that this power pack is a 10400 mAh USB charger. USB is a 5 Volt system. If you read the fine print inside the manual, it has a 10400 mAh rated battery inside, which is a 3.7 Volt battery. By the time you boost the 3.7 Volts to the 5 Volt power you use and need for a USB charger, you only get about 7000 mAh out of the unit. The marketing is totally misleading. Since it is a 5 Volt USB charger, the ratings should be at 5 Volts.

Other Thoughts: It is a great 7000 mAh charger sold by liars.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: No brainer, charge level indication, sturdy. Can keep my Droid running for a week.
Portable power... phone low? Charge it on the go.
Have an emergency? Grab it and run. no need to find an outlet.

Cons: Brushed aluminum case can be slippery on hard surfaces.

Other Thoughts: I bought this first. I liked it so much I bought the 13,000.

We live in an old house where outlets are scarce. We will put this on charge all day while we are out and then plug into it and carry it around as we charge our phone or tablets.

When I'm outside working, I can plug my phone into the battery anywhere and stream music all day without dropping the charge on my phone.
