3 out of 5 eggsMore like 3 and a half......

Pros: 1) Battery Life rocks!!!!
2) Swappable Twin Lithium Ion Battery pack and quick charging
3) Audio Streamer included :)
4) Standard Mini USB charging and tons of cables!!!!
5) Flawless connectivity with my Blackberry Curve 8230...
6) Great for gym workout
7) Price

Cons: 1) Not a very great bass appeal....audiophiles beware!
2) Sometimes skips a few beats when connected with my PC...still may be thats a problem with Dell Bluetooth or Vista..!!
3) Can cause a bit of external ear pain when used with the leather cushions...foam ones work the best!
4) Cant think of anything else....
I really like them!!!

Other Thoughts: Newegg rocks!!! Delivery in 3 days flat and that too free shipping! Worth their price at $ 30....
May be $ 50 is a bit expensive for these.... ;)

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless

Pros: They were on sale. Very good customer service over the phone.

Cons: Sent the 1st pair back because they wouldn't charge. The second paid did the same thing. I called Blue Ant. Their solution was to use an eraser on the battery contacts. This worked. But when I finally tested them I found the sound quality was terrible. And the voice quality over phone calls just as bad.

Other Thoughts: Fairly cheap construction and not very comfortable. I guess you get what you pay for.

4 out of 5 eggsHappy with Second Unit

Pros: Purchased before Xmas on special for great price + free shipping. Includes bluetooth stereo transmitter. Paired with my cheap LG cell phone in no time. Package includes PLENTY of cables. Manual seems to have been written in English instead of translated from an Asian language! Very satisfied so far but have only an hour or so of use with working unit. Spent 2 or 3 hours trying to get the 1st on to work properly.

Cons: First unit was COA (crippled on arrival). Returned to Blueant (not Newegg) for reasons below. Second unit works as advertised.

Other Thoughts: Problem with 1st unit - Stereo transmitter would only connect with headset in stereo mode when transmitter was on external power (USB or 120vac charger). On battery power, a cycle of connect-disconnect-connect... would repeat every few seconds. The main reason I bought this was for use with a metal detector.
I was willing to believe it was a pairing error on my part (others have mentioned some errors in the manual) so I contacted BlueAnt customer support. They replied with an apology for any inconvenience, provided an RA and instructed me to return only the defective components.
Understandably, Newegg's return policy is to return everything in the original packaging. As with so many things, this unit comes in a 'blister-pack' that once opened is like stuffing a genie back in the bottle. I opted to return it to BlueAnt for this reason alone.
BlueAnt sent a complete replacement (including cables, charger and blister pack) and this one works as advertised. BlueAnt gets 5 stars!

4 out of 5 eggsA complete bluetooth headset !

Pros: Good range and sound, foldable head band, removable battery packs, light weight, and comes with a free bluetooth audio streamer! This free audio streamer, alone saves you up $20, which is why it is a complete bluetooth headset! Works through doors and few drop outs. Great for listening to music and talking on the phone.

Cons: It works a lot better than my Samsung SBH500 and cost less, but it too, has a few cons. The behind the ear head plastic band does not look durable and it will break very easily if not careful. This whole headset looks like a ninety-nine cents only toy because it is made of cheap plastic materials. As with most behind the ear headsets, it is not very comfortable to wear.

Other Thoughts: I wonder who invented this behind the ear headset? This vase shape design is not comfortable to wear and it is not one size fits all. It's too bad that I can't use it while I'm driving because I might get pull over for it.

3 out of 5 eggsStrong features and versatility, average sound quality

Pros: This is my first try with BT stereo headset in a segment that has limited affordable options.

Plenty of features, and one of the best complement of accessories included I've ever seen. Decent sound quality unless you like it loud or are an audiophile. It doesn't compete with a comparable directly plugged in set, but is fine for all typical listening accept high quality music.

The included transmitter alone is worth the price being able to plug this in to any audio device.

Clarity is solid when walking into other rooms and upstairs from transmitter.

I've used them to listen to TV (via amplifier headphone jack) when wife is asleep, gaming when wife doesn't want to hear it, and in the office for radio/music.

Cons: Instructions could be better. 'Pairing' instructions are missing step where you should start from a state of 'off'.

There is a definite amount of hiss. I've tinkered with modifying player volume output and then the headset volume and came up with an acceptable combination that reduces hiss. i.e...if player volume is too high, then audio get distorted, if headset volume too high, then there is a lot of hiss. Find the right balance and it is acceptable.

Other Thoughts: I haven't yet tried connection to other devices via BT.
Over ear format can get tiring after a while.

3 eggs is a satisfactory review for me. Takes an exceptional product to get 5 eggs. In this case, my having to experiment with volume settings to acceptably limit the hiss cost an egg. Then the impact this has on overall sound quality (effectively eliminates low frequency response) and usable volume range combined with poorly reviewed instructions cost it the second egg.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointment

Pros: Light weight. Folds nicely to fit into my backpack. Range is around 45ft. Has contiunued working for almost a year now. Good battery life and quick charging. (Although used infrequently, see cons.)

Cons: Poor sound quality, hiss and distortion on Mac and also PC using BT. Uncomfortable, i can only wear for about 45 min before my ears begin to hurt. I cannot recommend this headset.

Other Thoughts: Construction is a bit flimsy. The sound quality has gotten gradually worse over the year. Battery life is still acceptable.

3 out of 5 eggstempermental

Pros: interchangeable/spare batteries!! either battery can be used with the data streamer and the headset. if you're not using the data streamer for use with non-bluetooth devices then you can keep the other battery charged!

removable mic for use with just a mp3/4 pmp player.

a tone of cables included.

standard miniusb charging.. turn device OFF first.

Cons: instructions are a bit wrong, doesn't tell you that to enable sync mode the device must be turned off first.

Other Thoughts: remember to get the full stereo functionality you need to sync the headset TWICE to the device/media streamer, or you'll get a constant high pitched tone in your left ear. (it does tell yo in the manual.. read it carefully)

also let batteries charge 3hrs before using!!

3 out of 5 eggsEpitome of Mediocre

Pros: Light weight, folds to fit in my backpack nicely, very satisfying battery life, range is pretty impressive to around 50ft

Cons: Audio quality is "meh" and made worse by a bluetooth connection. The range is good, but who cares about range if it'll cut out while my phone is in my pocket.

The microphone being a separate USB attachment is a HUGE hassle. when it's on it looks stupid and feels like it'll break off, and I always forget to put it on anyway. These are decently sized cans and they could've integrated a mic.

They look pretty ugly and are very thick. I've got a thin head and they make me look like a robot.

Even with decently short hair the joint in the back will grab my hair and pinch. It happens like once a week and kinda hurts. Solid plastic back stops me from leaning head back on some chairs.

Small rubber wire leads from earphone to the other inside the plastic band, and sometimes that wire tries to pop out. No big deal, push it back in. It can't fall out completely.

Other Thoughts: Headphones stopped responding to button presses yesterday, but I've had them for something like 3 years, so I'm not complaining. :P

Overall they're decent headphones and I don't regret buying them, but they're not that great either and if I were you I'd probably pick a different brand. The only big pro I see to these is the range, as they easily beat my friend's Motorola S9's, but as I mentioned above they're no better in close range.

4 out of 5 eggsGood experience

Pros: Light
Sound quality
battery life
NO WIRES
Multiple Batteries
Easy setup
Mic is detachable

Cons: Mic could over time lose its sturdy connection from basic metal fatigue.
The Mic does not pick up the low end signals in a persons voice.

Other Thoughts: Even with the cons I love this headset. I love no wires and long battery life on any portable product. This also interfaces with all my blue tooth devices. I would recommend this to anyone that is into playing games online and hates wires.
