Other Thoughts: Been a struggle to find a charger that an iPhone and an iPad could use reliably. Many advertise they work, but Apple devices can be a little finicky with off-brand chargers. This charger has been solid with these devices as well as our Galaxy S5 and the Nexus tablet. Great find - works well.

Pros: multiple outlets: I was tired of having to charge my gadgets all across the room. thanks to this, I made a dedicated charging place where I can put my phone, tablet, external battery, a smartwatch, and still have one port left.
the unit itself looks sturdy and rugged. the cable it includes must be around 5 feet.
Also, It doesn't really matter, but I loved the packaging.

Cons: caused electrical short and fire in electrical socket when plugged into the wall. The sparks charred my daughter's index finger and thumb that was holding the male electrical plug. The unit itself seemed ok, but the electrical cord sustained damage and one of the electrical prongs melted.
