3 out of 5 eggsGood charger, better marketing.

Pros: This is a solid charger that hasn't given me any issues in over a year. It uses the smart IQ technology to help capable devices charge up to 2.4A, however, it can only supply that charge for up to 3 devices at a time while the others will charge at only 1A (it has a total output of 8A). It's not a huge deal, and most (if not all) competing products do the same, but the way it's advertised would lead you to believe that each port was capable of doing 2.4A. It is still solidly built and looks great.

In short: Fast overall charger, small form factor and good looks

Cons: Slightly deceptive advertising on product's performance capability.

2 out of 5 eggsOriginal review 5 egg - 3 of 5 ports woring after 1 year

Pros: Reviewing black version purchased Oct 2014 - now reported as discontinued. Good charge rate, solidly constructed device.

Cons: Non until December 2015. 2 ports failed.

Other Thoughts: I am wondering if charging a recently purchased Anker E5 16000 mAh Portable Power Bank is killing the Anker 5 Port Charger

3 out of 5 eggsWorks, but.....not that fast

Pros: seems to work on Samsung phones and iPads with no issues

Cons: doesn't seem to charge as fast as the Apple iPad charger.

Other Thoughts: I guess I just have to buy 5 separate Apple iPad chargers to get the fastest possible charging for all my devices....

5 out of 5 eggsArguably the best Wall Charger on the market

Pros: If you are like myself you have a number of devices that need charged all the time in addition to devices you family has that also need charged. I have tested thoroughly with a number of different devices and they don't charge any slower when you have 5 devices plugged in, giving true 5v 2.1a to each device at all times.

Cons: Could have more ports

Other Thoughts: The only thing more I could ask for are more ports (which I think there is a model for) and Turbo Charging (12V 1.2A) output

5 out of 5 eggsYou will like it...

Pros: Charges anything I have connected IOS, Android, Fitness Bands and Powerbanks. The only exception is an old ASUS tablet but nothing other than the charger that came with it seems to work.

This is my second unit. I liked the first on so much I bought another. Showing up on Newegg e-blast helped make my decision on this unit.

Cons: None that I know.

Other Thoughts: Get one you won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: So far, it's been able to simultaneously charge my 2 tablets and 2 phones at around max charging rate for each device (~2A for the tablets, and ~1A for the phones). FYI, PowerIQ is just Anker's name for smart charging, which you should look for if you need something to charge most tablet and smartphones with. A regular >2A charger for tablets (Android in particular) won't charge past 1A if the charger doesn't have this technology in it.

With the current promotion, the price is on par with a competing device on another website, and this item is illegible for Shoprunner 2-day shipping (come on Newegg, just bring it back for all items!)

Cons: None so far. However, I would've liked to see perhaps 1 Quick Charge 2.0 capable port.
