Pros: Great for travel, as it is only 4 inches (like it says). I knew it was short so I knew what I was buying. So far it works.

Cons: Its regular price seems high for such a small cable. but I got it on sale so that made it reasonable.

Other Thoughts: Fine when connecting a device to a laptop or a docking station. Great when plugging a device into my Orico powerstrip with USB charging ports.

You will almost certainly have to make accommodations if connecting to a USB port on a full-sized PC.

Pros: Just the right size.

Cons: I couldn't get a rebate on both cables.

Pros: short and works (I have had many 3rd party lightening cables that do not work, or stop working after a while - jury still out on the lifetime for this one)

Other Thoughts: I know a couple of reviews here and dinged the cable for it's length, but it is clearly noted (now at least, maybe in the past it wasn't) as a 4 inch cable.
So, how useful is that? When charging or connect to a PC, probably not much. But I find when I'm traveling and using my laptop, it's pretty handy to charge my phone while on a hotel desk or a conference room table.
However the most useful I find it is when I'm charging my phone with a smaller portable battery and carrying both in my pocket. The short cable doesn't get tangled up on my pocket, and I can actually hold the phone, charger and cable all in my hand together without a huge coil of wires to get tangled up in.
So yes, the applications are limited, but for myself, this is preferred over even a 12 or 18 inch cable, and well work the sub-$10 price.

Other Thoughts: I seldom give a 5 star rating, especially for something that I've used for a very short time. But when you see knuckleheads give something a bad or poor rating just because they didn't pay attention to the product description, one feels the necessity to try & correct the rating to a more realistic representation.

Other Thoughts: I hope you are not like me who just scanned through the list not paying attention to the reviews. This is a 4 inches (!) short cable, not 4 feet, 4 inches. If you think that's good enough for you take out a ruler and check out 4 inches size. I can hardly find any good use for this cable. If i didn't have a bunch of extension cords at home i would return them right away.

Pros: Unlike other non-Apple cables, this one consistently works.

Cons: Much too short to be useful, even when using a front-located USB on a desktop PC.
