I use it charge my IPad mini 2. The cable works well for charging but does not transfer data. The original cable does both fine. Some strange issue. Not worth sending back to NewEgg though. But nice to have sync cable with me at all times. Cons: Plastic around lightning connector cracked in 1st week of usage. Still working but not sure how much longer it will last.
