5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected, and completely worth it

Pros: A great little speaker, and for the price, an absolute steal. I was looking at 60-80 dollar bluetooth speakers for the cottage, or just something portable, and this thing exceeded all expectations. Very easy to sync, sound quality is great (considering the size, I wouldn't compare it to a larger system, but again, if you get this on sale, you can't beat it) Extremely portable, small enough to fit in your pocket. The waterproof option is a nice touch considering I use it around water, but I haven't even splashed it yet so no real comment on that.

Volume and track controls on the side are a great touch but take some getting used to. Not a deal breaker.

Battery charge lasts a good 4-5 hours with no loss of volume.

I already dropped it (by accident) when testing the suction cup on a wall from about 5 feet, and thought I hurt it, but because of the water resistant plastic coating it is surprisingly durable and there was no damage.

Cons: Very little, and all are trivial.

- The usb cord is hilariously short, (approx. 8 inches.) but usable with a laptop.
- The volume/track controls are shifty until you learn how to use them.
- The suction cup hardly works, but since I never intended to use it, not a real gripe.

Other Thoughts: If you buy this - which you should if you're looking for a very cheap, rechargeable, bluetooth speaker on a budget - here are some things to keep in mind:

- If it's too close to the bluetooth source (phone, laptop, whatever) then there is a bit of static, but only if it's within a few inches.
- if you keep it charged or charge it regularly, it will condition the battery and you will get longer battery life overall
- Your speaker source makes as much difference to the sound as the quality of the speaker, so if you are streaming 64k online radio and the speaker sounds like garbage, it's your source, not the speaker. I tested this with a few sources and with mp3's above 128kb/s it sounds fantastic, indoors and out.
- I don't know if I'd spend the retail price on this, I got it on sale, and took a small chance because I'd never seen it, but this thing is beyond expectations for the sale price.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing little speaker

Pros: Small, water resistant, decent sound, very easy to pair with my iPhone 5C

Cons: The volume and play/pause buttons are a pain to use and easy to miss with the way it's designed.

Other Thoughts: I picked this up during a Shell Shocker for about 20.00 bucks. It's well worth it.

3 out of 5 eggsNovel Device

Pros: small. relatively waterproof (can stick on a shower wall). impressive volume for size.

Cons: not a significant audio improvement over my laptop's existing speaker system. a little louder at max and a little more bass. some difficulty getting it to function properly despite registering as "connected" on Win 8. works fine now. had to create a dedicated shortcut on metro screen.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this more for a phone or tablet accessory. if you have a decent laptop, the only advantage is probably in the shower, and I'm not sure how well the connection works at range through walls (never tested).

4 out of 5 eggsGreat little buy.

Pros: $30. Decent quality sound from a tiny device. Surprisingly loud. Sound doesn't warp until you put it at the loudest setting on both your phone and the speaker.

I use it in the shower, the kitchen, at work, and super excited to use it at the beach this summer.

Great value. Quick shipping. Fairly resilient.

Cons: The cord that comes with it is laughably small. At least it's micro USB so you can charge it with any phone charger (minus Apple products).

The button functionality isn't the greatest. The buttons work fine but they layout could be improved. Having to use the volume up/down buttons has proven to be a bit quirky. Takes some getting used to. Would be better if next/previous buttons were separate.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little speaker

Pros: It works perfectly for what I bought it for, to be used in the shower. Sure, it's not the best sounding speaker, but for a cheap, water-resistant speaker, it works pretty well. It works pretty well when it's connected to my android phone that's sitting on the toilet tank about 6 feet away. Also, the suction cup base keeps the speaker stuck on the shower wall.

Micro USB charging port is nice. I've only had to charge it once so far in the almost 3 months of owning it.

Cons: I would like more buttons on it. Having the skip and back buttons double as the volume buttons take a little getting used to. Sometimes you end up skipping a song you wanted to listen to when you're trying to turn up the volume.

1 out of 5 eggs14in wireless range,ughhh...

Pros: When connected this little thing can put out some decent volume. The audio is quite clean sounding with the Bluetooth 4.0

Cons: only 12-14in wireless range... Pathetic... hardly usable because of this.

Other Thoughts: If this had 15FT range it would be great and 4eggs.

2 out of 5 eggs  2 Arrived Dead

Pros: Amazing sound for the size, if you can find one that actually works. Newegg replaced two of these with zero hassle.

Cons: I've had two of these in a row show up dead. The first one shorted out as soon as I plugged it in to charge. The second powered on once but would never power up again. These are extremely cheap, I can't stress that enough. I took the second one apart after it died and immediately noticed the soldering and general craftsmanship of the device is horrible. I'm not sure who they've got building these, but I would imagine a high school technology student could solder better than the assembly team for these. Quality control also appears nonexistent.

Other Thoughts: At $19.99 if you can get a working one, that's awesome. However, I wouldn't pay one cent over that price, they're just not worth it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Speaker

Pros: Very small and light weight. The suction cup on the bottom of the speaker is a nice feature. The speaker gets super loud and produces a nice sound for it's size.

Cons: Knocked an egg off for the missing micro usb cable. The package clearly states that the cable is included. Opened up a ticket with the company and I got a response the day after. I still haven't received the cable and it's been almost a month.

Other Thoughts: Luckily I had a micro usb cable and I was able to use the speaker.

2 out of 5 eggsOkay at best

Pros: Affordable, sort of.

Cons: Much smaller than I expected. Not very loud at all. Modestly loud starts to distort.

Other Thoughts: Not much to say about it. I wouldn't buy it again.
