Bose MIE2i Mobile Headset for Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad

Pros: These are made very well and the silicon ear piece is incredibly comfortable.

Cons: The sound on these is just the epitome of average. I've had 20 dollar headphones that sounded about the same as these.

Other Thoughts: I have a pair of the old Bose Triport Headphones and really enjoyed those, but I am sorely disappointed by the quality of these headphones.

Pros: This is the fourth pair of Bose headphone that I've had. I broke my first pair of ear bud while at the gym punching the heavy bag, got tangled. I have a pair of over ear head phone that I use at home, my last paid of buds just got wore out. I have a pair of the Beats (over ear) and they do not compare to the sound, clarity, bass that these small ear bud provide. These is my first pair of hand free Bose headset, and I'm sure that I will also love the ability to clearly hear my phone conversations. I'm a Bose fan for life! And, as you all know, nobody does it like NewEgg! Order on Sunday night, received on Tuesday afternoon.

Pros: Comfort -- these headphones are so comfortable. I can't wear in-the-ear earbuds because they irritate my ears in just a few minutes. But I had these in for hours and feel great and on the plus side they really stay in my ears.

Doesn't fall out -- these earbuds stay in my ears, I can walk, ride my bike and run and they always stay in my ears. Not so with other brands.

Sound -- I know that there are audiophiles on the web who HATE the "Bose Sound" and find the price way too high, but I have always liked this sound. Maybe I'm in the minority in they eyes (ears) of these folks, but I really like the way Bose processes music, nice and tight and even. These earbuds are no different, they round out the Bose headphones product line.

Ambient Sounds -- These earbuds do not block out all outside sound. I can still hear traffic and people walking around me. For me this is an important safety issue while I ride my bike, I need to hear everything, but the sound quality is good enough that it kee

Cons: Price -- the price is high, I would like to see them move the price point to sub 100$, it would really open up new markets for them.

Other Thoughts: I would defiantly purchase them again. I should have replace my iPhone earbuds early.

Pros: Fantastic sound clarity, accurate EVERYTHING. Best earbuds to buy, especially with the line-in microphone.

Cons: Doesn't fully work with Android, no matter the version of the OS.

Pros: Extremely detailed sound stage. Lots of effortless bass, and enough clarity to sometimes be disorienting. They don't fall out of my ears despite 8 miles of bike commuting every day.

Cons: Somewhat uncomfortable. I might have a funny shaped ear, but they put a little pressure on my lower ear canal. Not bad enough to take away an egg.

Other Thoughts: They are not noise canceling, and this is good if you must hear cars and pedestrians through them. Not ideal for airplane rides, perfect for jogging and biking.

Pros: Wonderful sound. I changed to the small tips and they fit my ear great, stay in even when working out. Mic pics up more than the Apple earbuds that came with the iPhone. Works great for iPod touch, iPod nano, and my iPad 2.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I know Bose isn't the best audio brand out there, I'm not one of those audio-clueless people who thinks that they actually are. And if you're an audiophile, you shouldn't be using earbuds anyway. But, if you do choose to use earbuds (whether for convenience, not wanting a huge pair of HP on your head, etc.), then these are one of the best pairs you can buy.

Pros: Very good headset able to stay in ear no matter the project. I use as grinding and working on cars as a radio and able to hear when my cellphone rings. Has paid for its self in entertainment and usability time and time again.

Cons: The ear buds were a little uncomfortable to me at first, but after a week or two were just fine.

Pros: Comfortable, ships with all sorts of eartips and it's easy to find the right one for your ear type.
Doesn't really block out background noise, (Con or Pro, depends on which way you look at it.) For me it's a pro, I need to hear my surroundings
Has an inline remote, works with my iPod Nano 5th generation and the call button works with my Desire HD

Cons: Price
Lacking in the treble department, these are bassy earbuds (I personally like bass, goes with the genre of music I listen to, metal, older hiphop/RnB, Jazz, etc.)
I had to RMA them once after owning them for 7 months, the plastic badge on the side that says "Bose" fell off on the left side, made them ugly. I sent Bose an email about it and they RMA'd them for free, except I had to pay the 5 bucks to ship it to them. They actually upgraded me from the MEI2 to the MEI2i, the remotes are different. Nice of them.

Other Thoughts: Overall, nice earbuds for comfort and wearing for long periods of time. Not the best sounding, but will get the job done. I'm satisfied with my purchase and hopefully I won't have to replace them any time soon.

Pros: The right fit for I suspect any ear, and certainly those ears that hate the Apple-supplied ear buds. They do not 'plug' you ear, like most of the other in-ear headsets. These allow you to have some consciousness of surrounding sounds (which is important in a car while driving, etc.). The other in-ear solutions sound awkward when you speak (kind of like plugging your ear and talking - sounds annoying. And, they stay in while walking, moving, running, etc. Sound is "Bose" quality and as good, if not better, than others (like the Klipsch Si4).

Cons: The cord is black and white - could be a little less noticeable.

Other Thoughts: Many knock Bose for the price premium and perhaps 'Bose" trademark sounds. Bottom line is these are as good or better than any other solution out there. They are safe to drive with, sound great, and they stay in your ear.

I tried both Klipsch and Sony comparables and neither were as satisfactory. Don't waste your time with others.
