Pros: na

Cons: lousy sound, poor design. don't buy.

3 out of 5 eggsEh.

Pros: Works fine for the most part. Seems perfectly adequate for environments without a lot of noise.

Cons: Using this in my car is problematic. It seems like every other time I talk to somebody they tell me that they hear this awful noise on their end. The battery doesn't seem to really hold its own either. I would agree with another user's assessment of about 5 hours talk time (tops).

Other Thoughts: I got this headset fairly cheap at the time of purchase; they recently passed the hands free law in Oregon and I needed a headset. I have a Verizon Droid Eris that I use this with. Overall I'd call it an okay headset, but I'm looking for another. I think when it comes to bluetooth headsets it's best to spend the extra money on a quality headset. Still, I wouldn't call this purchase a loss.

3 out of 5 eggsFunctional

Pros: Very light, Comfortable once adjusted correctly, Acceptable range, Quality build, Has a great "feel" to it, Battery level indicator is VERY handy, Works well with the iPhone 3G and 3GS despite what other reviewers have said!

Cons: Battery life is quite short (5 hours TOPS), very fiddly to get fitted on ear correctly, Audio quality is uninspiring, Uses a large "wall wart" for a charger, "Noise Canceling" just seems to simply mute the microphone so those you are talking to will hear blank gaps in your conversation on the other end.

Other Thoughts: Overall it's a worthy purchase if you can get it cheap enough, but it's nothing special feature and performance wise. Add in that it's got a number of quirks listed in the cons that may put people off it.

Just keep in mind that I've had worse headsets and paid more, but I've also had WAY better headsets and paid much less...

1 out of 5 eggsiPhone incompatible

Pros: Lightweight works well without wireless - I give it one star for incompatibility with iPhones and inadequate sales information.

Cons: I bought 2 of these, a white one for my wife's iPhone 3g and a black one for my iPhone 3gs. The headset is unusable if the iPhone wireless is turned on - the electronic chatter and static make it impossible to hear the other party. Turning off wireless - even while ON a call - makes the headset work fine.
I tested both headsets on both phones and tried a different wireless router (Netgear N & Linksys G) and it was the same under all scenarios.

Other Thoughts: I emailed Nokia tech support and never got a response. I called them and was told "the device may pair with non-Nokia phones, but may or may not work" (verbatim). She said I could send the device into the repair dept for evaluation, but when I asked if it would be tested with an iPhone, she said I'd have to call them. The number she gave me was not in service and the next rep I got on the phone said no such number even existed. They wont refund my money, only replace it if it's defective. It's not defective though - it just doesn't work as advertised. Nowhere on any product sheet or their website does it state that it is only guaranteed to work with Nokia phones and that all other phones "maybe, maybe not".

Dont waste your money if you're an iPhone user who doesnt want the trouble of turning off wireless everytime you want to use the headset!!!!!!!!!!!

3 out of 5 eggs"Acceptable" little device

Pros: - Good deal when it's on sale
- Light weight
- Long lasting battery
- Love the ear gel (only if you buy the RETAIL one in store, they have 3 x ear gel!!)

Cons: - Too Sensitive (other party can hear everything in my surrouding)
- Some Static on both end during our conversation

Other Thoughts: Been using this device for almost one month now, and about 60% of the time, both party will hear some static during our convesation (we can still heard our conversation clearly, but it's a bit annoying with the static in the background). Aside from that, other party can hear everything in my surround is also a no no.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: -Price (paid $8 after $15 MIR)
-Simplicity of use
-Battery Life
-Comfortable
-Sound quality (most of the time)

Cons: -Some crackling/static at times. Occasionally I get some static through the headset but it doesn't happen very often.
-Unable to use for music, but I wouldn't want to do that on a non-stereo headset anyway.

Other Thoughts: Overall, for the $8 after rebate that I spent it has been a great buy. It paired up very easily with my Palm Pre and worked right away. I have used it quite a bit. I use it without the over-the-ear piece and with the right sized rubber piece that fits in your ear it stays put, even moving around. It is comfortable to wear and I have really enjoyed it so far. Took off an egg for the occasional static that happens sometimes but for $8 I have no regrets buying this product.

2 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for "nightmare"

Pros: Sound is good for the money

Cons: Serious firmware problems. Calling is ok using the button on the device. Hanging up is a nighmare using the button. The unit does not seem to want to hang up properly especially if you try to hang up when you get someone's voice mail. About half the time it won't disconnect. Sometimes if you keep pressing the button because it won't disconnet it looses connection to the phone.

If you ever get a call while trying to hang up from a voicemail message forget it. You end up connected to both parties but you can't disconnect or talk or anything. It usually requires you to reboot your phone. This is nighmare while trying to drive. Twice I have had to pull over to reboot my phone to get the stupid thing to work again.

The button is in the wrong place and it is hard to press. It jams that speaker into your ear canal. The little rubber ear things are either too big or too small. Part of the problem is that the button does different things depending on how long you hold it down.

Other Thoughts: Move the button to the front so it presses against your check bone. Press once to voice activate and press again to hang up. Move volume control to top of device where it is more intuitive. Nokia device won't even work with one of their own phones

1 out of 5 eggsmy original title was deemed potentially offensive

Pros: please.

Cons: noisy. ear loop broke into two pieces with light use after two weeks.

Other Thoughts: it sure would be nice if i could get a replacement ear loop (or a couple dozen given how long the thing lasted), but tracking one down is impossible. i paid $25 for 2 weeks of use. a 3 cent item broke, and now i am out of luck.

nicely done, nokia. this will be the last of your products i purchase.
