Remember that aluminum salt-shaker Lt. Uhura used to wear in her ear? Well, she's Commander Uhura now, and I'll bet she's moved up to a Bluetooth headset. Wouldn't you?
Small, lightweight, with up to 3.5 hours of talk-time (and nearly 80 hours of stand-by time!), you can wander up to 10 meters (33 feet) away from your phone and still maintain contact. That's clear across the bridge! And most controls are accessible from a single button.
Many states have enacted laws requiring hands-free devices for cell-phones while driving, and even if your state isn't one of them, isn't it nice not to have to grope around for the phone, then hold it up to your ear? Safer, too. Don't wait another two hundred years; be cool and safe now!

So Far So Good
- Pros: Lightweight, very comfortable in the ear, noise cancelling technology seems to work well (so far). I have not used this in the car yet but since we have a bathroom with a very noisy vent fan I went in there and shut the door with the fan running while talking to my wife on the other line. She said she could hardly hear the fan noise. Good design and rather nice looking. Great car charger design. Not sure why people are having problems with range. I walked all the way across my house and it must have been 40 feet before I got static. I have a Sony Walkman w300i cell phone so maybe that was a positive factor.
- Cons: No A/C adapter, but with a car charger and USB charger I will be fine. Don't try pushing the volume buttons with one finger. Only takes 10 seconds to figure out how to use two other fingers to support it while pressing. Not a big deal either. I would have rather had a charging light that changed to, say, green when fully charged instead of the red light just going out. Very minor as well. The connection of the USB charger to the charging pocket is a little flimsy compared to a regular USB connection. But at least it does not slip off that easily, just seems like a weird way to make a connection, but hey that's just me.
- Other Thoughts: I purchased this 665 based on a friend’s positive ravings about the 655. I have had a Motorola H350 for a long time and just purchased an H700. The H700 was a little better but I received static intermittently and people were always complaining when I was talking to them in the car about exterior noise. My main reason for getting this 665 is for car use. So hopefully the bathroom fan experiment was a good litmus test for the car. If it is really bad I will write another review and let you know.
Awesome product
- Pros: I am actually using this device right now and I must say it is a great improvement over my last bluetooth device (Motorola H550). I don't even use the ear loop stabilizer that it comes with as the gel inserts fit nicely into the ear and it is very lightweight and hard to notice the fact you have it on.
- Cons: No AC adapter is my biggest gripe with the product but I just plug the USB adapter into my laptop and go from there. There is mild static when on call but nothing unbearable and I did encounter the same feedback with my old bluetooth device (might be a phone issue... not too sure).
- Other Thoughts: All in all I am very happy with my first plantronics device, I heard excellent reviews about them from other people and I can see why. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a bluetooth device.

Very Nice
- Pros: Great clear and loud.
Clear sound going out from microphone. Lightweight and Comfortable Multiple and Switchable gel earbuds 2 methods of charging (car charger or USB) Comes with car charger Includes optional Ear Hook
- Cons: Only 3.5hrs talk time
No AC Adapter I get only about 20 feet of distance, not 33 feet as advertised. Noise Canceling is not that great.
- Other Thoughts: I bought two of these, and headset to headset they still sound great. Clear and not muffled at all. The range is a little weaker than advertised, but that may be my phone's fault. For the price, this is a great headset and compairable with my $100 headset from Plantronics.
Noise canceling is not as good as some more expensive headsets. Car noises still get through with this model, but not so bad as to wash out your voice.
All in all, a great budget headset and I would buy it again.
works well
- Pros: Clear reception. Easy to use.
- Cons: needs recharging frequently.
I must have a different device
- Pros: small, portable, easy to charge,
- Cons: Falls off all the time; I did not recieve multiple ear buds with mine. Volume buttons very hard to use, and I have small fingers.
- Other Thoughts: Can't tell about sound quality as it is always falling out.
I'm looking for a different one with an ear loop
