PLANTRONICS Voyager Pro HD Bluetooth Headset

Pros: I didn't buy this at newegg, but I've owned 2 of these headsets for almost a year. Battery life rocks, and charges quickly from almost dead to 3 hours of talk time in under 30 minutes. Connects to 2 devices! Good for a cell phone, and maybe a soft phone on a computer.

Cons: Soft rubber housing on mine started to bubble, and eventually completely came off. My 2nd headset however never did this and is still going strong to this day. Maybe it was left in the car with the windows rolled up on a hot summer day that did it... who knows. But I have to purchase a new one now because of this.

Battery life is also very misleading. It will say after a 30 minute charge that I have 6 hours of talk time remaining. LIES!! It's not bad though, cause I can get a little over 3 hours out of it.

Other Thoughts: I like this headset so much that I don't mind buying another one due to the damage that happened to it. I'll buy it from newegg this time though and save some $$$!

Pros: Fanstastic sound - nobody knows I'm on a headset. It connects to both my desk phone and my mobile at the same time (not confusing - very handy).
This is my 2nd unit - both bought here at NewEgg. I broke the plastic arm on the first one - it's a rough environment here but, it still works. I have recommended this to others and they are also quite happy.

Other Thoughts: Be careful on ordering this - order this one on this page! I accidentally placed the first order for the OEM version which costs $8 more and doesn't have free shipping and it also doesn't come with any accessories. The NewEgg customer support guy was great and we got this worked out fast.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my wife and tested it with my Jawbone ERA and Blueant Q2. I found the bt to have low volume and sometimes I had to ask multiple times to repeat sentences because of static or muffled voice. This didn't happen all the time. Overall a good bt with long battery life and decent call quality. Easy to put on and wear. Not as good as the Jawbone ERA as far as incoming and outgoing audio is concerned. Buy at discount price if possible.

Pros: Quality of call is still good as typical Plantronic products. It has some additional features such as Find my Lost Headset, Battery Level checking, integration with you cellphone.

Cons: None of the said additional features above work. Battery life sucks and is inaccurate. I bought this model as a replacement for original Voyager model that I lost recently. The original was by far my favorite headset I've ever used. It was extremely comfortable and battery life was outstanding, however this model (the newer model) was a mere fraction of its predecessor. The headset is much less comfortable on the ear, it also only has about 4-5 hours of talk time to the battery where the original was easily last twice that.

Other Thoughts: This was a very disappointing product amongst a great product line.

Other Thoughts: This is absolutely the best headset I've ever owned, and I've used headsets since way back when you plugged them into a 3.5mm jack on your cordless hardline phone. Plantronics have always been my favorites (my former 'absolute best' was a Voyager Pro Plus). Aside from a somewhat short battery life (~5hrs. talking) it has never caused one minute of concern. The 'on ear' sensor is a ton more useful than it seemed at first glance, and it works perfectly every time.
What impressed me most of all, though, was that laying in a driving rainstorm overnight in the parking lot at work after I'd dropped it while leaving didn't seem to bother it one bit. It didn't work at first, but after drying for 12 hours and recharging I can't tell it ever happened. Yes that probably shortened its life, and obviously isn't recommended, but I've had devices fail with far less abuse than that.
Well done, Plantronics. I'm a customer for life.

Cons: First, I have to say that I have never left anything a "1" star (or egg) rating..

I use and have used Plantronics devices in my business for years and they have always been great but this one left me burnt..

That being said, I bought this unit 4 months ago, plenty long to try it out. The unit is VERY heavy and BULKY so know that going in... I also had high hopes that if the unit was so large the battery would be better than most.... WRONG... 6 hours at BEST but usually less than half of that. This thing has had constant problems pairing and it has always been slow to connect/pair. Sometimes so slow that the person calling hangs up or says hello about 12 times. Given all of this I was still trying to get by with it until I put it on last week and it broke in half! The plastic just snapped. On the phone with Plantronics now and they said I can return it once I go to their website and go through all of that... we'll see......

Last week I bought a MOTOROLA H19TXT and this thing is AWESOME. hands down the best, fastest, lightest BT I could have ever imagined... I was sceptical because of the salesman at AT&T but he was right! this thing has an 8 hour talk time and fits so much better but most of all, it is SO LOUD I cannot even have it up all the way. Old people could even use this on their jitterbug! Thanks Motorola, you have new life in my eyes.

Pros: Very clear sound. Reasonable range. 5+ hours talk time without a recharge. Supports 2 connections. Recharges significantly in less than 30 minutes. Audible messages for connect / disconnect.

Comfortable even when worn all day. Flexible design is comfortable even if you have large ears.

Cons: Some cell phones get confused if you initiate the disconnect / reconnect from the headset instead of the phone. Result: headset is not correctly enabled, even of phone and headset report "Connected". Cure: Power off bluetooth on the cell phone, then power on bluetooth and connect from phone.

Other Thoughts: Totally satisfied. Use it every day.

Pros: Excellent Bluetooth headset, powerful, efficient, comfortable, balanced on ear- doesn't tilt forward, light - barely feel it, other party can hear me very well, excellent noise cancelling

Pros: Great sound quality and really comfortable. This device is very simple to pair with your phone.

Cons: None for me. Some might not like the size of this device.

Pros: +Comfort- Wear on top of ear and barely notice it.
+Call Quality better than my phone.
+Pairs reliably and stays connected. Pairs with Panasonic BT home phone too and works quite well.
+Pairs with two phones concurrently, though not sure what happens if I get two calls.
+Noise cancellation superb, No one notices if I'm driving, in a noisy server room, grocery store etc. They say they hear my voice just fine. I may have to plug the off-ear, but I can hear them very clearly as well. Remarkable.

Cons: -6 Hour battery life on stby.
-Non-Replaceable battery. Wonder if the battery will die before the ear wax gets it?
-Mute button difficult to access.
-Volume controls could use some surface dots to let you know which is up/down.
-Be nice if it came with a small storage box so it doesn't get crunched in my briefcase or pocket.

Other Thoughts: I was surprised such a large object hanging over my ear would not become a major annoyance after a couple of hours, but find I can wear it longer than the battery lasts. I may shift to the other ear.
I had bought other ones that go into the canal but found they made my ear sore and could not wear them very long.
I usually rest the ear canal part on the lobe and stuff the earbud in the canal in noisy places.
