1 out of 5 eggsTerrible

Pros: Bluetooth and this unit looks pretty sporty and nice. Yeah...that's about it.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor headband design and unwillingness to redesign

Pros: One of the most comfortably and best sounding bluetooth headphones I have ever owned

Cons: I have sent this headphone in for warranty replacement three times now. Each time I have been assured that the reason for the failure had been addressed and that this would remedy my problem. This has been so not the case if anything the failure rate has been shorter each time!!

Other Thoughts: It would seem so easy to address this problem if they would simply use metal ends on the adjustable part of the headband I believe the problem would be solved. Three failures of the exact same the tiny end breaks off the adjustable headband. At which point the are no longer secure or as comfortable to wear.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Sweat Resistant! Don't Buy!

Pros: Comfort and initial battery life.

Cons: I run 30 minutes a day 4 times a week. The headphones lasted about 3 months under these conditions. The right side ear now suffers from an annoying popping sound and the full charge that initially tells me more than 5 hours will actually run out of battery after 40 minutes of usage. I can only imagine based on all other poor reviews sweat is cause because these are not very sweat resistant.

Other Thoughts: I've tried Jabre Sport and now Motorola in search of a bluetooth exercise headset. It seems I will have to give up looking for a wireless exercise headset and go back to corded until the technology develops for another year.

3 out of 5 eggs1 Year later

Pros: -Bluetooth range is awesome, I've never experienced a drop.
-The sound is good (not expecting Bose, just clear and loud - for the gym).
-Pairing was simple and consistent.
-Motorola honors their 1yr warranty.

Cons: -Does not seem to be as sweat proof as advertised.

Other Thoughts: I purchased my first Flex-S211 HD one year ago tomorrow (4/2/13), and today just put in for my second warranty replacement. The first pair lasted two months before they died, likely because of sweat. The second pair started getting flaky back in October, but they still generally worked and I was still able to charge them. Yesterday they completely died on my. I couldn't turn them off, none of the buttons worked, and it wouldn't take a charge anymore. Fortunately I called Motorola 1 day prior to me being completely out of warranty.

The next replacement will only have a 90 day warranty (original product has a 1yr, replacements have 90-day) so if this next one dies after 90 days I'll have to find a different solution.

2 out of 5 eggsReview followup

Pros: Good sound, good features

Cons: Poor construction

Other Thoughts: This is a follow-up to my previous review. I am on my second headset as the first broke/snapped in half. Motorola replaced that headset since it was still under warranty. The second headset has held up fairly well, but the "comfort strap" on each headset has fallen apart on me. Without this strap the headset doesn't sit properly and is more uncomfortable than useful.

2 out of 5 eggs3 Weeks, bad speaker

Pros: The sound is great, pairing is easy and automated. I haven't event had a chance to mess with the buttons while running... read cons.

Cons: Crapped out after 3 weeks of sparse use. Left speaker is completely shot. Very annoying to happen mid run.

Other Thoughts: This device is either not really sweatproof or I just had a bad unit. I'm going through the process of trying to get an RMA and exchange through the seller since it is within the 30 days.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Never had any bluetooth connection problems. Sound was good.

Cons: My headset broke after 7 months of use. I used them for an hour a day on average while running or at the gym. Went to take the headset off one day by pulling one side out of my ear, I heard and felt the *snap* as the wraparound band snapped in back. Did not break in two, but now the band is loose and doesn't fit well at all.

Other Thoughts: Called Motorola, they agreed to replace them since they offer a 1 year warranty on the headset.

Two options for replacement
1) Give them a credit card, they cross ship a replacement while they wait for the broken item, or
2) Send them the broken item, and you wait for them to process (after they verify it is defective) and send the new item to you.

3 out of 5 eggsNice but flimsy

Pros: Better sound than a single speaker. Before complaining about sound quality. They are less than a c-note and sound accordingly. Wife says she can hear back ground nose from the engine of a big truck, but I can hear her perfectly on my end.

Cons: The plastic broke on the half way mark, charge is closer to 4 hours.

Other Thoughts: I really like them, but the material used needs to be a bit more flexible to wrap around the back of the head.

2 out of 5 eggsDo yourself a favor - look elsewhere

Pros: It functions. It can produce sound and has a microphone that seems to work properly.

Cons: Sound quality is unbearably bad when paired with my PC. Tried everything from updating drivers, to installing motorolla software, even changed out my bluetooth dongle in hopes that it was me doing something wrong. Unfortunately the problem persisted. Gonna have to RMA this and look elsewhere.

Other Thoughts: I had such high hopes for these headphones. They really don't sound half bad when paired with my cellphone. Unfortunately the sound quality does not compare when paired with my PC. The best way I can describe it is that it's as if they've used some sort of mono to stereo source changing software that failed to catch some of the mids and all lows.
