5 out of 5 eggsGreat for showers and more

Pros: Battery- After the first charge it lasted weeks. Doesnt last as long now but I can use it for a week or so still with no problem.
Personally I use it for the shower, I am a college student living in the dorms and you can here it clearly of shower noise and the occasional annoying phone playing horrible rap music in the next shower over.

Price- very cheap

Loudness- people can clearly here it in the hallway while I am taking a shower with the door shut. When Im in a room with people I have to turn it down to here people speak so its definitely loud enough for a nice get together.
Bass- the thing is like 2.5 inches tall, dont expect your walls to shake or anything but its definitely better than any phone. Expanding feature adds lots of bass

Cons: Sound quality- If your trying to jam out hard core in the dorms this is not your go to speaker, im not audiophile but you can notice sound degradation, however thats expected from a small unit. It sounds nice until you turn it up all the way.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's worth the money...

Pros: Cheap! Enough volume to fill any room, and then some. Lots of bass for such a small package. Light, small and portable.

Cons: Seriously lacking in high frequency response

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a decent portable speaker under $20 with a 4 or 5 star rating, and this speaker seemed to have the best bang for the buck. I mostly wanted it for listening to music in the shower and the occasional outdoor activity, and this fits the bill just about perfectly. It certainly puts out enough volume from my Galaxy S3 to fill any room in my large house.

When the speaker is closed it's very small and will fit in your pocket (though you might get some funny looks ;)), and the sound is just ok. When you pop it open you immediately notice a huge jump in bass, and you can feel and see the vibrations coming from it. My only complaint is that whether you have it open or closed, the speaker is noticeably lacking in high frequency response. The specs in the booklet claim 280hz-16Khz, which would be fine if true, but I flat out don't believe that. It sounds to me like it has a max of maybe 4Khz, and everything sounds flat or bassy. This was disappointing, but for $10 I certainly can't complain and I don't think most people will. I like Bass as much as anybody, but in this case I'd trade away a little bit of the low frequency response for some high frequency.

I only received the speaker today so I can't comment on how long a charge will last. The specs claim 8 hours, which is enough for pretty much any outdoor activity, and of course you can always plug it in to any USB power source (including your phone if you have a mini-usb to micro-usb adapter or cable). The speaker came already charged btw, so you can use it right out of the box. This is perfect for a trip to the beach, and if it gets ruined you're only out the cost of 2 gallons of gas.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: Very small size (golf ball?) when unopened. Toss it in your pocket.

Charges fast - couple hours on a USB.

Very decent sound that radiates 360 degrees.

Doubles as a nightlight - blue LED. I set it on a glass tabletop and the LED which is located on the bottom throws a nice glow to the floor - it's enough to see by at night.

Shielded speaker cone - you can toss this in a bag and not worry about it.

Very decent runtime. I use this plugged into an old phone running the Rainy Mood app (rain and thunder) in my room so I can fall asleep at night and it runs all night and through the morning.

Very happy with it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Nice to listen to when you just need a little background, laying out by the pool, etc and don't want to lug a brick.

While you can daisy chain these, the included 3.5mm plug cable is maybe 6 inches long and it coils up in the base - just FYI. If you want to put these across the room from each other you will need an ext cord.

10/10 , would buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsREALLY LOUD!!

Pros: WOW!! This speaker is really loud. I had bought an Ihome iHM60 ($20) before and it doesn't even compare to the FiGo speaker. This speaker is much cheaper and feels sturdier. I like that it can be connected to another speaker, that way it will be much louder than what it already is. The charging led status is also a plus, that way you know that the speaker if fully charged. It also has its own volume control. Carrying pouch is also included. I sure do hope that battery lasts as the ad states, up to 8 hours...At $10 and free shipping, I didn't get what I paid for, I got much more!! I highly recommend it, TRUST ME, you won't be disappointed. I will order another one!!

Cons: none so far
