Pros: I'm able to transfer my phone book off my V551 and V557 as well as add/delete pictures, videos, songs, etc. High transfer rate at USB 2.0.

Cons: The only con is not a really big bad one. You can not charge your phone like it states in the description and the USB will not charge it.

Other Thoughts: You do not need to use the USB if your phone and computer both have IR or Bluetooh, I use my Razr V3X via Bluetooth so I can charge it as well as transfer and sometimes with my V551 and V557 when they need to be charged. As always I order this on 4/23 and got it 4/25! Thanks Newegg!!

Nice Software But No Charging

Pros: The included Motorola Phone Tools is a nice package allowing you to connect to your phone to synchronize and edit calendars and contacts lists via your PC. You can also do some ring tone editing via PC and then transfer to your phone. The software is also designed to allow internet connections, provided you have a data package with your cell phone provider.

Cons: The description states that a charger can be attached to the side of the cable. This is not the case. The only way to charge your phone is to disconnect the cable and connect your charger. This definitely limits your online time, especially if you also use your phone for voice or text communication and your battery is already parially down.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg has always provided quality service to me and, even though this cable didn't match up to the description, they made it right with me. I am always impressed with NewEgg's commitment to excellent service!

By the way, NewEgg, if you determine the description is right and the wrong cable was sent, please edit this review appropriately.
