Samsung HKT-450 Bluetooth speakerphone is JUNK!
- Pros: It got good reviews. It would probably be fine if it would properly pair and if Samsung had any support
- Cons: This product is the crappiest product I've bought in a long time. Specs and reviews were fine. I bought two of them for two phones (Motorola and Samsung). Bluetooth pairing finds both devices fine and when pairing is initiated, it promps for a PIN or Passcode. Instructions say to enter 4 zeros (0000). This fails with Invalid Passcode error. Both phones. Both devices. To add insult to injury, just try contacting Samsung. No e-mail replies. No live chat supports mobile phone accessories. Phone wait is horrendous and only spins you in endless loops with never any help to answer.
- Other Thoughts: I'll never buy another Samsung product again.
Only good for the sale price and basic functions.
- Pros: Good price & fast shipping. Seems to transmit well.
- Cons: All tones are too loud. The blinking blue LED is blinding at night. The visor clip doesn't hold the unit in place very well and it sticks out way past the visor. The speaker crackles when the volume is set so that I can hear it easily. My biggest problem is that voice dialing will not work! I use this constantly and my phone keeps asking me to repeat. I don't know if it doesn't come through the unit clear enough or if there is another reason, but it just won't work.
- Other Thoughts: Redesign the visor clip and reduce the volume of the startup and shut down tones. Maybe relocate the blue LED, as well.
