3 out of 5 eggsGreat product, horrible durability

Pros: Great for running.

Cons: Buttons stop working after a few months (sometimes weeks or just days) of heavy use. They also pinch a little bit, but you get used to it.

Other Thoughts: I've bought several pairs of these headphones. When they work, there's nothing better for running. I don't know if it's sweat, rain, or just heavy use, but they inevitably cr*p out. Sometimes I get almost a year out of them, sometimes just a few months, sometimes just a week. I know I should stop it but I just can't quit these d*mn things. They're less worse than all the alternatives I've tried.

2 out of 5 eggsSo disappointing

Pros: - They sound great. I listen to a lot of bass-heavy music, and it came through beautifully in these.

- They fit securely to the head and don't come loose. Some could find the snuggness uncomfortable, but it didn't bother me, even with glasses.

- A charge typically lasted me a week or more using them at the gym, and recharged in a couple of hours.

- Paired easily (at first) and rarely dropped the connection, even between walls and 30+ feet away from my phone.

- I sweat buckets at the gym and it never seem to cause a problem. This was the primary reason I chose this particular set, and it seems to live up to the 'sweat-proof' claim.

Cons: - Power button is AWFUL. Right out of the box it worked fine, but within a week or two it stops making reliable connection and you just kind of have to hold it and hope it works, try pushing at different angles, etc. My first one the power button eventually stopped working entirely and I had to RMA it. The new pair was good, again for about 2 weeks, at which point is lost the "click" to let you know you'd successfully pushed it down. Then I had intermittent problems with it functioning at all, but not as bad as my first pair.

- Pairing issues. It stopped pairing, I factory reset them per tech's advice and it worked for a day, then it quit again and even a reset didn't make them detectable by any devices.

- It also stopped charging and powering on at all. My 2nd headset, within a month of receiving it, is completely dead. I'm deciding whether I want to bother with another RMA or just find a new pair. This has been the single most frustrating experience I've ever had with a pair of headphones.

Other Thoughts: When they work, they work great. Sadly they spend enough time not working that it's just not worth it for me to keep fighting with them. A very expensive headset for how unreliable they are.

3 out of 5 eggsOK I guess

Pros: Small, fits well. Light weight enough for me. Different size ear plug cushions fit my ear fine.

Cons: Not loud enough. I know I may not be the norm on this. But, I got these to replace my use of the iPhone 5 supplied ear buds. Those things sound WAY better then these. MUCH better base response, and louder volume when you want it. These are not very loud at all. They are "ok" loud, but not loud enough for my tastes.

Other Thoughts: They will do the job. These are for going to the gym and not having to worry about accessing my phone to change tracks, and of course to cut the cord. However, they are lacking in the base response department, and they are not loud enough for me to get excited about. I was expecting the base to be a little less then the Apple supplied speakers. They are really good for there size. Just not for practical gym use or being very active.

It would be nice if there was some kind of firmware update that would take the governor off these headphones. I feel like they could be better.

4 out of 5 eggsThe wife liked them so much I had to buy her a pair!

Pros: Sound
Great sound while using it on phone calls, listening to music, or watching videos on youtube or netflix.

Style
Behind the head headphones have always been my favorite, except for ear buds. This pair is both and wireless.

Performance
I can be listening to music while working or just being busy running errands, get a phone call and answer it with the headset, the other person on the line can hear me perfectly, and at the end of the call my music continues.

Battery Life
Listening to music and answering phone calls all day, and it still has enough life for music or videos while at the gym.

Range
Bluetooth, "need I say more?" about 30ft range "tested."

Controls
The controls are on each ear. Left ear (volume up, volume down, and answer/end call buttons.) Right ear
(play/pause, next track, previous track.) Easy to control and remember where the location.

Cons: I have two major gripes on this head set that doesn't make it 5 star, maybe not even a 4 star, but the pros out way the cons by far.

1: The size of the ear piece (silicone gel caps.) The smallest one that it comes with is way way to big to the point that after 2-3 hours they start bothering my ears.
The smallest one of three in this package is like the largest one of three in a pair of ifrogz ear buds. If Motorola ever sold a replacement set that was smaller I would buy it in a heart beat. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like any company list a standard size of the silicone gel caps so you can't compare sizes, they are all just (small, medium, or large.)

2: The low battery alert. At first I thought I got a email or something, I kept checking my phone when I was listening to music. It turns out it was the low battery alert for the headset. It's not that bad except it goes off every minute, (60 seconds on the dot) and lasts about 45~60 minutes... I wish there was a way to disable it.
**********************UPDATE****************************
The low battery alert hasn't been as much of a bother lately. Last time they were running out of juice it was only for about 5-15 minutes and it was done.

Other Thoughts: Now it looks like the Motorola S11 would fit my ears better, but they are also more expensive.

Wish I could turn the low battery alert off.

Otherwise this is a really good product, and I wear them daily. For the price and quality you cant find anywhere else.

5 out of 5 eggsDurable!

Pros: Highly Durable
Long battery life
Good range
Easy connectivity

Cons: Somewhat uncomfortable
Meh mic quality for phonecalls

Other Thoughts: Average audio quality. I used to wear these in highschool, hiding them behind my long hair and listening to music in class. The battery life would last the entire school day. I would also wear it during warm-ups and running during wrestling practice. Boy, let me tell you, there was sweat! Not to mention I'd toss it to the other side of the room whenever we started wrestling and my coach told me to take it off. So I can attest first hand that these are indeed VERY sweat-proof and shockproof to an extent. However, if you have more money, get the newer model, the S11 Flex HD.

1 out of 5 eggsNo More Motorola

Pros: Easy to pair.

Cons: I've owned a couple Motorola S9's in the past and loved them. The S10-HD is a huge step backwards. Sound is flat and muddy. No bass or highs. The controls are extremely hard to locate. And not to forget extremely uncomfortable. I'm sad about the purchase. I should have paid attention to the reviews.

Other Thoughts: Stay away from this model!!!!

1 out of 5 eggsIncredibly uncomfortable

Pros: bluetooth works

Cons: -Uncomfortable
-Unacceptable sound quality

Other Thoughts: I bought these at Target, and returned them less than a week later. I wore them for four hours before I couldn't stand it anymore. They don't sit right anywhere, and they pull on your ears like mad. Don't even think about looking up while wearing these.

Not to mention the sound quality. Bluetooth or not, if I pay $70 for headphones, I expect them to sound at least slightly better than the default ipod earbuds.
