1 out of 5 eggsNot great

Pros: Not one yet.

Cons: So far this purchase hasn't worked out for me. The unit came in grungy and used looking. I rma'd it back and shipped it immediately. It's been 18 days and i've heard nothing from the seller i've also not received anything. I'm not impressed with the urgency to make this right for me the buyer. I'm also not happy with the 18 extra dollars i had to spend to ship my item back to Zal digital...

Other Thoughts: My least favorite purchase I have made with my newegg account and i've had it since 2007.

2 out of 5 eggsWhy you no turn on???

Pros: Strong bluetooth. It will connect to my wife's phone in the house over 75 feet away. Great range of stations for the FM transmitter.

Cons: This is a functional on/off button away from 5 eggs. The on/off switch turns on the auto on/off. Sometimes, when fully charged and with the switch in the on position, it will simply not trigger the auto on. This sometimes lasts for days before it randomly turns on somewhere on the road. It also occasionally randomly turns off. I have also had it not turn off when I moved the switch to the off position. Maybe mine is just defective

Other Thoughts: The "I disconnected" beep is horrifically shrill.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks very well! Better than most say.

Pros: Easy setup. Intuitive. Told that it provides great clarity. Audio is good and fm function is better than other reviewers are giving credit. You can choose the full range of stations; it is NOT limited to 88.1-9. I currently have mine set at 106.1 and it works well. Some unique spots it gets overwhelmed but otherwise very good clarity. So much so that I play music apps on my phone via the car stereo instead of listening to the radio. My girlfriend has the old T505 (which was formerly mine) and now she wants this roadster 2 liking the new features.

Cons: There are some disconnects at times. I've found that if I switch the fm mode off BEFORE I exit the car there are less disconnects when I reutrn but even then it's EASILY resolved by turning the unit off, back on and simply go in your phone and click re-pair. The person who said you have to charge the unit... are you serious?

Other Thoughts: This is a very useful technology and anyone who is tech savvy will understand where problems really lie. You don't have to be a cpu builder like me to use this. It's very simple. Just ask a tech savvy friend what they would do before letting yourself come up with frustrating solutions and blaming the product. You may find you have a very good tool in your possession and save yourself a lot of grief. Also, try playing with the unit before saying it's limited. If you're afraid of breaking it you shouldn't probably buy it. You can't break this, so learn it! It's part of the fun having new toys!

Pros: Easily paired.

Cons: Battery failed at 6 months, cannot be replaced. No receipt, no warranty. Road kill.

Other Thoughts: Motorola service did not stand behind their product.

3 out of 5 eggsNot what I expected

Pros: Paired right away to my Samsung Galaxy Note II, using it in a 2010 Honda Fit Sport. Makes a great GPS speaker! About a week of use and the battery is still "high", only charged it once when I got it, and have left it on since even when not in the car. The unit activates itself when you get in your car, even with Bluetooth off on my phone? lol Can also answer a call with a voice command :)

Cons: FM mode is useless, don't buy it just for that feature... It lets you set it to like 4 different stations from 88.5FM - 88.9FM (using the -/+ keys), all of which have some sort of broadcast in my central mass area, so it's competing with real broadcast towers lol, when I did get it to work there was enough static in the parking lot I was sitting in to not want to trust being on the phone if I drove off... It works ok as a speakerphone with my wife's at the same time driving around in our two cars, it's JUST loud enough for use... As far as making a call to a land-line I'm told I sound "hollow" and "not that easy to understand" :(

Other Thoughts: All in all it's what I would have expected from a non/name-brand $25 unit :(

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for me.

Pros: No problem pairing to my S3. Automatically detects my phone every time I get into the car. I have had it for about 3 weeks and did an initial full charge and recently, a second charge. I leave it on all the time. Callers tell me that it sounds like I am standing next to them and there voice is loud and clear through the small embedded speaker. So far, it has voice dialed every number I have wanted to call.

It can read incoming text messages and send a voice text message. Only had the opportunity to receive and send one time so far, but worked perfectly.

Cons: It has an FM switch so you can switch from the embedded speaker to your car speakers. When you push the button, the unit finds an open FM signal and the voice prompts you to turn to that frequency. However, there is a fair amount of static on that frequency so no good for listening to calls or playing music from your phone through that source. I haven't had the chance to see if I can locate a better frequency setting.

Other Thoughts: My older car radio does not have bluetooth and so I purchased a newer stereo system for the car, figuring might as well get better sound at the same time, right? My son tends to text and do SIRI search when he drives, which really worries us. I decided to buy him the Roadster 2 for Christmas. Thought I would first try it out in case it didn't work and I could return it and purchase something else prior to Christmas. I liked it so much, I returned my car strereo system (really only needed bluetooth) and kept Roadster 2. When I told him that I was going to get this for him and have it sent to him for his Christmas trip home, he said that he just bought JayBird - BlueBuds X Bluetooth Earbud Headphones and loves them for when he works out and they work perfectly for when driving. Problem solved. I got what I wanted and he got what he needed. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!

Cons: Motorla Roadster 2.Never buy

Other Thoughts: I bought this item from Newegg and was happy to use it but it never worked prperly ,called motorola a few times ,they processed my return and never sent me one. I called again and they said your order has been cancelled because WE DO NOT HAVE ONE IN STOCK. Was very dissapointed with the product and Motorola because they did not stand behind their product. And I am posting this every where I can.

1 out of 5 eggsRoadster 2 & Galaxy S3

Pros: Nice looking Unit. Device Paired to S3 without any problems. made 3 phone calls. End users said sound quality was exceptional. Received 1 incoming call, sound very good.

Cons: Default boot voice is poor and tinny. Voice dialing with a Samsung Galaxy S3, is unreliable and does not work most of the time. After spending several hours trying to get the voice dial to work, my research lead me to believe the problem is with the S3 Phone when the keyboard is locked. The Roadster 2 does not work out of the box as expected with a Galaxy S3. I will continue to work with the Roadster 2. At this time I would not recommend the Roadster 2 for Samsung S3 Galaxy S3

Other Thoughts: I do have hope for the Roadster 2
