5 out of 5 eggsIt's rugged, bulky almost

Pros: I bought this to protect my phone, and when dropping it in a hardhat area repeatedly, i didn't need to worry about the phone

Cons: It's thick, compared to the slim-as-all-get-out iPhone5. But protection is a trade-of well made

Pros: My wife was afraid her iPhone5 would be damaged in daily use and I brought her to the newegg site to see a ShellShocker. She picked a different case for style. It wasn't as cheap, but she totally loves it.

Cons: "Does this case make my phone look fat?" "Sorry, Dear, but yes it does."

Other Thoughts: Seems to provide good protection, and certainly makes you feel safer in handling your phone.

Pros: Very good protection. You could probably drop this thing off a roof and it would be fine.

Cons: I guess this is known for all defender cases but you get what looks like oil slicks between the iPhone screen and the built in screen protector. Not cool and the only recommended fix on the Otterbox website is to put baby powder on your iPhone. Not A choice.
