5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: 12,000mA of pure awesome. The same size battery from other brands were vastly over priced, and for $40, its really hard to beat. I was cautious of the brand, as this is the first New Trent product I've ever bought, but I was surprised buy its quality. Further, I love it when a device has few misc markings, and this fits the bill.

The 2 outputs are a godsend, as I use it often to recharge my Nvidia Shield when I'm out, so the 2.1A port saves my bacon, plus the 1A port lets me keep my phone juiced up.

Yes it takes a while to charge, but it's 12,000mA of power. perfectly acceptable trade-off. It can keep your phone charged 5-6 times over.

Cons: My main issue with the battery is that the charging port is on the side and at a 90 degree angle from the other ports. This makes it slightly awkward when trying to charge it. I would have preferred it to be on the front with the other ports.

Other Thoughts: Ive been looking for a battery pack to get my girlfriend, and ive honestly been considering another New Trent battery. My experience with this pack has been nothing but great, and I tend to stick with what give me a good experience.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Useful.

Pros: Has two USB ports. Both of which exert a different amount of power. (Output 2 being 2.0 Amps and output 1 being 1.0 Amps.) Charging port was changed to a Micro USB port. Battery fits in pocket. Comes with little bag to carry battery around.

Cons: Battery surface can easily be scratched. Takes a long time to re-charge. Plastic surface can absorb finger prints. Slightly heavy. Carry around bag picks up all the lint in your pocket. Wall charger not included.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Portable Charging value around

Pros: Low Price
High Capacity
High Quality
Sturdy Construction
Very Reliable

Cons: Requires a USB charger

Other Thoughts: I had a couple of these when Sandy hit. They did a great job keeping my phone powered for the week and a half I was without power. When the price dropped to <$40 I bought four more. The newer ones charge from a USB type charger which isn't included. Not a hardship since I have accumulated a drawer full of them, and a common power source is very convenient.

4 out of 5 eggsLong lasting charge

Pros: Can fully recharge an iPhone 5 multiple times. Can charge an iPad about once. Has two differently powered USB ports. One is ideal for high powered gadgets like an iPad. Tiny size, very portable. Just works. Huge mAh battery.

Cons: The unit itself feels sturdy but the case feels cheap. Takes around 24 hours to fully charge the box itself. LED indicators leave a lot to the imagination as there are only three levels of charge indicated. Just started making a high pitched buzz when using the higher powered port.

Other Thoughts: Had this for a while now and I never leave the house without it.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful but small

Pros: Relatively small form factor with rounded edges, easy to put in and get out of a pocket.
Charged my iPad w/ retina display from 4% to 99%
Uses micro USB to charge

Cons: LEDs for charge state can be difficult to see in high light

People who don't read the instructions won't realise they have to push the button to charge it
Made in China

Other Thoughts: Because of the capacity this unit takes some time to charge, be aware and plan accordingly. Over night is best, but about 4 hours has gotten it recharged for me.

4 out of 5 eggsLots of juice

Pros: This is a big capacity power pack charger that is a good match for the power hungry new iPads or any other tablets. It can charge smartphones
for days and days in one full charge.

It comes with an wall AC adapter that works from 100v to 240v. You can bring it with you in a different country where voltage is 220v and you won't need a transformer. It includes a micro USB cable and Galaxy Tab cable. A nice black pouch is also included.

The design is very simple and attractive, it is mainly black with a blue accent. The power button incorporates the LED battery indicator showing Low, Mid or High.

Sample item was provided by the distributor for an evaluation review.

Cons: - the only thing I can add to this is that they should label the outputs as 1A and 2.1A instead of just Output 1 and Output 2. That way you know right away which is which.
