Other Thoughts: This charger works, and the cable is of a decent quality for the price. The lightning end, is just a little bit thick, but it fits my iPhone. I'm happy with my purchase.

Cons: The plastic surrounding the Lightning connector end of the cable is quite wide. Wide enough that it wouldn't fit into the charging port of my LifeProof Fré case, forcing me to sand the cable down! Only took a few minutes with fine-grain sandpaper, but still, why did Kensington need to make it 3X as wide as the lightning connector that came with my iPhone 5S? Most people have their phones in a case, and LifeProof is a well known case maker, so you wouldn't think there would be an issue with fitting. So, before ordering one of these, make sure it'll fit your phone case if you want to avoid going through what I did.

Pros: The charger works as advertised, and provides a strong charging source for my iPad and my Galaxy S4.

An added bonus is that the included lightning cable works perfectly for data transfer; I can plug my iPad directly into my computer (running Windows 8.1) and transfer files.

Cons: A little expensive, but considering Apple charges $20 for a lightning cable alone, this is a good deal by comparison.

Pros: When I got the iPhone 5, and started reading about Chinese knockoffs of the Apple Lightning connector cable, most were not very reliable, so I was hesitant to get this combination, but I needed another car charger, and the price after rebate was good enough to warrant getting it, even if the cable turned out to be a dud. I have been nicely surprised to find that my phone charges perfectly every time, without the annoying error about not being a supported device. The cable fits just like the $19 Apple connector, and the length is just right from the charger to the phone. I would highly recommend this to anyone with doubts.
