3 out of 5 eggsWhat happened to the battery?

Pros: Typically paired with my phone no problem. Useful for what I wanted--bluetooth into my 2000 Chevy stereo via the tape deck.

Cons: Battery seems to be done after 9 months.

Other Thoughts: I can't get the thing to hold a charge anymore. Can't even get it to stay on when it's plugged in. I've used it in my car almost 100% for the five months I've owned it and it just started this.

3 out of 5 eggsEarphones good, mic bad

Pros: Sound on headphones is good and included headphones are pretty good (to be noted that I only used them for a few minutes.
The range on the unit seems to be line of sight (tested up to about 15 feet).
It is tiny and really light.

Cons: The mic is horrible. The background noise is quite loud and the actual audio recording is very noisy.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to use this as a headset with my computer, not my phone, so that I can move around without being tethered.
I would be happy to use it to just have wireless headphones, but I want something with a decent mic as well, and while when I got it, it was cheap for making headphones wireless, I would rather just buy a wireless headset.
I will return it when I get a chance.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value!!!

Pros: Excellent bang for the buck!! Bought a Jabra Clipper at the same time to compare. Clipper was 62.5% more expensive and not near as good, in my opinion. Will return the Clipper. Tested this for using on my motorcycle with my Droid Bionic GPS underneath my full face helmet. Fit very nicely and comfortable in my ears and was no problem getting my helmet on. Ear-buds really canceled out the noise of my loud pipes, yet could hear the surroundings well enough. I was surprised at the volume...plenty loud enough! The clip is much better than the Jabra, it's small enough to put in your pocket or clip it to your garments. Tested phone...worked well. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase and will probably buy a few more for family members!

Cons: It would have been nice to have a micro usb charging connection, but at least it comes with a usb charger on one end for computer charging and it comes with a AC charger.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: Very small, light weight (about the same as a pencil), good battery life at 8 hours, sounds ok, the electronics seems fairly well built for the price. What I'm happy with is that it was easy to pair, and it stays connected during use. The track forward and back buttons work for music, but are the same size as the volume button. It has full stereo sound, and sounds fairly well.

Cons: The on/off switch is the "Go" button which looks like a logo on the front of this device. You hold it for 2 seconds to pick-up/return a call, 5 seconds to power on/off, and 8 seconds to enter pairing mode. I've made calls by accident with this. I would have preferred a true on/off switch, and a feature button for the other things.

No battery charge indicator. And it "beeps" too frequently when the battery is getting low.

Volume buttons feel backwards to me with the lowering volume on the right.

The buttons and housing feel cheap. It snaps together, no screws or glue. It would probably survive a few drops, but might come apart. It's easy to put back together.

Another con is the charging port is specific to this device. I would have preferred a more ubiquitous connector, Micro USB perhaps.

Other Thoughts: I didn't test the power with and headphones. I imagine it would be sufficient for most typical headphones.

I bought this for a car stereo project. I tried FM transmitters, tape-deck adapters, and now finally I hacked my tape deck and soldered in a 3.5 mm input. I connected a PAC Audio 3.5 mm ground loop isolator between my tape deck’s new “line-input” and the GOgroove. The GOgroove has some issues that I've listed as a con, but that's mostly related to my project. The device works well for how it was intended, so I won't take off Eggs because I'm looking for some minor differences.
