Cons: We bought ours at a brick/mortar shop so as to not have to wait for shipping. What a waste. Within three days the belt clip broke while removing it from te belt. The store exchanged the part and a day later the exact same thing. This plastic toy is not for professional use.

Other Thoughts: The belt clip should not be made from cheap plastic. I breaks with a minimum of pressure. We simply wanted to remove the item from the belt and squeezed the clip and it snapped, shooting the parts away. Either we got a defective unit or the design is flawed. No matter, we're returning the item for a refund and will never buy this brand again.

Pros: I bought a Lifeproof piece of trash for my iPhone about a year ago. I Burned, stomped, and knifed the case to death because, LIFEPROOF is garbage.
I never owned an Otterbox until I gave up on APPLE, and went Galaxy. I bought 2, S4's and will not EVER go back. Now that I've experienced the Otterbox, I am very pleased with it. full coverage with the exception of the Home button/camera/speakers. the protective screen is very sensitive so there is no messing up finger placement when typing/gaming.

Pros: I'm a scoutmaster and I use this to protect my S4 when on our scout day hikes, and short backpack trips where my s4 is used for pictures and emergency contact. I simply do not worry about the phone inside of this case. Hiking in the rain and want to take a picture - no problem and no worry. I dropped the phone in a mud puddle - just cleaned off the outside with a rag and it kept on taking pictures. No moisture got inside. I can throw this in my backpack outside mesh pocket and not worry about it.

Cons: Slightly thicker but I would rather protect that phone.

Other Thoughts: It's an otterbox defender. Get it - and your phone will stay protected.

Other Thoughts: I admit I didn't buy this here just wanted to put my thought about it here. This is actually my second otterbox case. I owned the commuter case for the droid inc 2 and I really like that case. So when I upgraded from that to my gs4 I wanted to put in a otterbox. The only thing I was worried about with the defender case was if it would add alot of bulk to the phone. And I am glad to say it doesn't. I would say it is just bulky enough to protect it like the case should. It still fits in my pant pockets just fine. And with the additional belt clip if clipped in to it the right way it will protect the phone even more covering the screen. I would recommend ottorbox cases for anyone that needs to really protect their phone. They are the best ones on the market. And really the only ones that I would use..

Pros: I originally had a different brand cover, butit was terrible and not at all protective. The Otterbox is amazing. It protects the phone so well. If you are going to get something to protect your Galaxy S4, this is yourbest choice....and at this price it's really a no-brainer! Everything fits perfectly, and there is no major con for what you get. It also gives the phone a good solid grip, because without it, I was afraid it would slip out of my hand easily.

Cons: The cons I am about to list are really quite nit-picky. The case is a little uncomfortable against my side my shirt is not tucked in. It's also a pain to remove the memory card, because you have to remove the entire case. How often you have to actually access the card is a different story, since the micro USB slot is easily accessible by just flippin up the piece that covers it.

Other Thoughts: You do need to be careful when you put this together. Follow the directions clearly and try not to touch the of the screen cover. Use your fingernails to open the slots (pretty clearly marked)to slowly and gently seperate the pieces. DO NOT try to open it by pulling just one corner or side apart as I think it will break this way. Instead, easily pry each slot open and then pull it apart once all the slots are seperated..
