1 out of 5 eggsDon't trust the rebate.

Pros: Low cost (if I received my rebate). Worked well. Clear. Long battery life. Great product.

Cons: I bought this for 0.99 with the rebate. Seems like a great deal right? Wrong. I did not receive my rebate. I really think newegg should screen rebate options, they often seem to be scams. I trust newegg, and expect more from them.

Other Thoughts: Note android devices will not work with mono ear pieces.

2 out of 5 eggsThis hurts a lot.

Pros: This headset has a great battery life and styling and a decent call quality. Even after 7 months of ownership. I am a huge fan of LG and I really enjoyed the styling of this headset. I am not a heavy Bluetooth user. Unlike most people, I use my headset when I am in my home. It frees me up when I am doing stuff around the house.

Cons: This thing HURTS! After about 15 minutes it feels as if you are a victim of some weird ear torture. The plastic non-padded ear piece has a small point to help grip it to your ear. Sadly, it does this with as much strength as a junkyard crane. I sanded down the point and then wrapped the plastic in a few layers of heat shrink in the hopes of creating some padding. It helped but not much. This plastic ear piece even after 7 months has no loosened it's grip. It still creates pressure pain on my ear.

I have owned many headsets of the years and this is the first one I can say that is painful to wear. I still have it but I use it sparingly. I prefer to wear my wired headset around the house. I can't bring myself to buy another headset until this one breaks. It's an LG so I'm going to be waiting a while.

This thing doesn't sound the best. Even when right next to my phone calls are a little raspy. Sometimes I need people to repeat themselves. But for the most part it does its job.

Other Thoughts: Decent headset with decent sound and outstanding battery life. If you are into ear pain this is the headset for you.

5 out of 5 eggsI suppose I'm a bit surprised

Pros: Got this for a steal so I wasn't expecting greatness but the little thing turned out to work darn good. I use this in my Peterbilt truck and figured it would pick up a good bit of the surrounding noise from the transmission, turbo, tires...etc but so far nobody has had any trouble with me while I'm using it. Its got a decent range away from the main unit. Nothing crazy but if you walk into another room or something it wont cut out.
-Easy to use.
-Pairs extremely well with my LG G2x phone. (Optimus 2x)
-Newegg prices/shipping/website.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Fanbois are easy to spot. If someone has a bad experience the fanbois will always dock them no matter what. Go to your favorite processor, graphics card, memory, HDD, SSD...etc and find someone who got a dead unit, or worse, 3 RMAs and still dead..etc and their review always has "1 of 9 people" for helped or not. Don't dock people for thier honesty. It ruins the site and the great review system here @ the Egg. Just because your BH that a user had a bad experience with your BFF part doesn't mean they are trashing on it just to spite you. Keep Newegg honest.

1 out of 5 eggsUnbelievably painful.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Square shape causes an ungodly amount of discomfort
The LG 235's sound quality is much poorer than my LG 230

Other Thoughts: I'll keep it as a backup, but I'll downgrade (or is it upgrade) to the 230.

1 out of 5 eggsStopped working

Pros: Sounded OK. Fast shipping by Newegg.

Cons: It stopped working after 1-2 weeks...LG quality makes me wonder. Either that or I could have bought a lemon! Either way...felt like I wasted my money on this item.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent...if you're on a budget!!!

Pros: Doesn't feel like there's a plug in your ear! Range is good with a Droid not with my Casio, I've been on the second floor in my house with my phone in the car located in the driveway and answered calls. I do get the occasional blip and have to turn off and back on but that's not that often. Lightweight and not bad looking, I especially like the fact that it charges with a USB Micro and not some super special plug! Charges right off my computer or my phones charger and it's about time that a company recognizes the frustration for consumers when they have 50million chargers and no use for them! Audible voice tells you when phone is connected, multipoint on/off and volume is low, but when it tells you volume is low plan on getting this thing on charge soon!

Cons: LG's Rebate system was horrible, it took about 5mo. to get it! The instructions for "multipoint" were terrible, basically you get in pairing mode and use the volume control for on/off. Nothing to distinguish which phone is ringing and it does not tell you the number or who is calling.

Other Thoughts: If you spend the money and don't count on the rebate then I would suggest buying this, the price isn't bad and again I stress that this thing doesn't feel like you have a cork in your ear! The over the ear clip is optional and I personally have never been bothered with it on, sometimes I forget this thing is my ear!

4 out of 5 eggsCheap, comfortable and functional

Pros: - Very cheap
- Lightweight
- Standard charging connection (microUSB, no battery)
- Good battery light in between charges
- Good call quality
- Simple setup

Cons: - Can't secure Bluetooth functionality (e.g. different code, different name, etc.)
- No low battery indication

Other Thoughts: I only use this for about 30-45 minutes in the car to and from work...and occasionally on a road trip. It works well, especially for the price.

It doesn't connect to my phone or function normally when the battery is low, but doesn't give you any errors either...so when in doubt -- charge it.

3 out of 5 eggsFair

Pros: Price was right.

Cons: I have to turn up the volume every time I link it to my phone. It also occasionally disconnects from my phone for no apparent reason. I don't hear people as clearly as I think I should - wish I could turn up the volume a bit more -- and yes, I have excellent hearing.

Other Thoughts: It bothers me if I keep it on my ear a long time -- but any bluetooth I've tried does that. I think it's impossible to avoid.
