1 out of 5 eggsWorked for 3 months...shame on PNY

Pros: Capable of charging 2 devices simultaneously for up to 3.1 Amps draw. Price was good, but....see cons

Cons: Poor design on folding plug. Now has intermittent connection internally to folding plug, where unless I prop it in a certain position it won't make connection with its folding plug to power it's ports.

Other Thoughts: Bought this on 3/14/14, so it just made it to 3 months of use. Now I know why they were priced so cheap.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes Great! Built Solid!

Pros: Is everything as advertised, the charger is heavy enough to feel durable without being overly so. The plugs spring back and forth and don't jiggle AT ALL and would never slide on their own. Both ports work, and the 2.1Amp port doesn't lie, which is good because it was the entire reason i bought this.

Cons: No Cons. I might have been lucky with quality control by the looks of some of the reviews. Mine was purchased April 2013 if that helps with your purchasing confidence.

Other Thoughts: I use the high power USB to power my Raspberry Pi. I use it because i'm running a logitech unifying receiver AND a wifi dongle on the pi without a powered hub. I wanted my htpc to be as simple and portable as possible. With Raspbmc now I can stream 720 with full DTS all over my house! (1080 might req. an ethernet cord). I also get a more stable overclock (you should add heat sinks if you're going to overvolt)
All in all, totally satisfied with the purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best 3.1 amp wall charger out there.

Pros: My old T mobile charger broke so I wanted new dual USB charger and wanted a 2.1 amp on it. So I bought this and it works perfect I can have my friends charge their phone while I fast charge mine. I have a galaxy nexus with a diy fast charge/ac cable and it works perfect.

Cons: I only wish this thing had the data wires soldered to allow ac mode.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat until prong latch broke

Pros: - Two ports
- High poweroutput
- Quick and efficient
- Price

Cons: - Broken prong latch

Other Thoughts: So I don't really know how to describe this but the prongs on the charger are supposed to lock into place in either an out or in position and one of the prong's latch broke so it swivels freely instead of being stuck in place and it's rather annoying when im plugging it into my wall. But other than that its awesome so only one egg off.

5 out of 5 eggsNot that Bad

Pros: It works
Hasn't started a house fire yet

Cons: If I'm honest, I would have to say that the folding prongs (presumably for convenient storage and travel) fold a little too easy. Try and plug it into the wall- it folds up. Try and plug a USB cord in without holding the charger- it pops out of the wall. Look at it the wrong way- it folds up.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this as a power supply for a RaspberryPi-based web and file server that is, obviously, running 24/7.

Currently, uptime is at a little over a month, and the charger has worked flawlessly. It hasn't burned my house down, it has supplied the Pi with ample power, and it was reasonably priced.

Not bad.

3 out of 5 eggsCharges Android Phone, not Android Tablet...

Pros: two USB charge ports

Cons: -Does not charge my Asus TF700 tablet
-Designed such that it blocks adjacent outlet. Should have been designed 90deg from it's present design.

Other Thoughts: Purchased on sale, not a lot of reviews, so a bit of an uncertain venture.
I'm going to crack it open and see why my tablet does not charge from it and see if it's fixable.

It amazes me that no one makes/sells a product like this that is well designed...
