Kinivo 3.5mm Mini Speaker with Rechargeable Battery ZX100

Pros: Beautiful sound, suprisingly amazing bass. It can almost be too loud in small spaces. I can not only hear it across the house but also from outside the house! Also it is ultra portable and the provided usb/3.5mm cord more than compensates for the short built in 3.5mm cord. The wide base allows the the speaker to be places on almost any surface, and it stays stable even while jumping with bass.

Cons: The short, built-in 3.5mm cord is so short that it pulls when used to attach to output devices. After awhile it wears out.

Pros: Tiny, portable, surprisingly good sound, no Bluetooth pairing or drop-outs, inexpensive.

Cons: Slightly odd controls, short attached cord, not stereo.

Other Thoughts: Got 2 of these on sale- for the money they are surprisingly good. After charging them up via the USB ports on my monitor, they were good to go. The attached mini-plug cord is literally 4 inches long. But you can also use the included USB(2 sizes)-to-mini cord to have 24 inches to work with. Handy! This is just a monaural speaker, but the pop-open air chamber gives it decent volume and resonance. Cute, and surprisingly good at this price point. They can also be daisy-chained. Worthwhile item!

Other Thoughts: when I want to increase the volume & bass, I pace the unit in the bottom of a glass.

Pros: Good looking design, solid construction, excellent sound for the size, great battery life

Other Thoughts: I did not take an egg off for either "con" listed because it doesn't stop anything from working the way it should. Yes, the cord is short, but this device is meant to be plugged in next to the device, not ran across the desk or anything. As for the buttons, everyone thinks it would be the large black spaces labeled as "volume +" or "volume -" etc., but the buttons are actually under the red molding under the black parts.

Also, the resonator MAY be prone to breaking if extended a lot over time. I don't see it being an issue if you don't try to extend it too far but it seems like a 50/50 chance.

Battery life is great. I use this device at work with my mp3 player and one full charge usually lasts about 10 work days of 2 - 3 hours use each day. I don't crank the volume so if you turn it all the way up normally this will definitely shorted the battery life.

All in all, I love this speaker and highly recommend it for anyone needing a mini/travel speaker

Other Thoughts: I remodel bathrooms, kitchens, whatever.
When the other guys forget their radios I bring out this little speaker, place it on top of an upside down 5 gal bucket and it rocks the room! Perfect sound? No (it does sound good) but I'm using hammers power tools and the like. Just ordered another one, gonna hook them together.

Pros: Great sound for a little speaker, has surprisingly good bass. Can't beat it for the price.

Cons: The first one I got would not charge, but I liked it, so I emailed the company tech support. I had a replacement in less than a week with absolutely no charge to me. Kinovo has great tech support, among the best I've had for a defective product in my 13 years of building computers and sound systems. Hence the 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: Newegg has a 30 day warranty, but I would have had to pay shipping and maybe restocking charges. I always check with the company when I receive a defective product. Something I guess the customer with the bad review didn't do.

Pros: This little speaker is an excellent value for the sound it produces. I use this with my Samsung Galaxy 5.0 Media Player and it pumps out audio at surprisingly loud and clear levels. The battery also lasts for a long time. I've only charged it up once and have gotten at least 8 hours of play time out of it. The small carrying bag is a nice addition and is fairly well made. Recommended!

Pros: I love the sound, bass, its portable, and the feature that you can chain more speakers. I prefer this item to anyone. I use this speaker faithfully when i do not want to watch television or a movie. I just plug in my speaker and listen to my music.

Cons: I only had one problem and that is that the cord is short but you can buy and extra cord to plug in.

Pros: Small, elegant, fantastic sound, rechargable.

Cons: Delicate resonator extention

Other Thoughts: Amazingly good sound, my wife uses this to watch streaming movies with her Nook and the sound quality is stellar, especially the base (good depth and resonance considering how small the unit is). Would definitely recommend this to a friend.
