5 out of 5 eggsWorks for what I needed it for

Pros: Ordered this so I could use my PS3 controller wirelessly on my computer. Works great with the software I found, SCP. Doesn't work as a normal Bluetooth anymore given that the drivers are changed to connect to the controller.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Not really using this product as the manufacturer intended, but it works great.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Compatible with Windows 10.0

Pros: Compact.

Cons: Have major driver issues working with Windows 10, my review score is based upon that. After hours of troubleshooting and re-installing drivers it still doesn't provide consistent or reliable bluetooth connections.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I can pair my DualShock 4 controller with this with no problems. Has not disconnected on me in two weeks.

Works with Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10. Tested it on multiple systems.

Pairs with anything. Does not drop signals. Paired my sound bar, iPad, multiple phones, a Bluetooth keyboard, and a Bluetooth mouse.

It's very unobtrusive. The size is wonderful. I don't notice it's plugged in the USB slot and the status light is not obnoxious.

Bonus: The LED matches my build.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: If I pair my Sony HTCT260H sound bar with my computer, the audio sometimes gets crackle-y. I'm not going to use this to stream sound so it's not a deterrent for me.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: Plug and play. Works exactly how it is supposed to.

Cons: Limited range. I use it for DS4 windows and the latency goes up if I'm more than a few feet from the adaptor but that could have to do with the DS4.

Other Thoughts: Good customer service. They wrote to follow up and see if I had any questions.

2 out of 5 eggsSKIPPING IS DRIVING ME NUTS!

Pros: If it worked w/ music it would be great. :-(

Works fine for transferring photos from my cell to PC!

Cons: Running Vista 32bit Business and for the life of me I cant stop the music from skipping during playback!

Have called there support and got replies like try plugging in into the from of your PC USB port. DID NOT WORK.

I have tried there driver as well as the one from Broadcom as they suggested and still the same.

Other Thoughts: Would be fantastic if it worked? What driver will actually fix the issue???

5 out of 5 eggsKinivo BTD-400 Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter - For Windows 7/Vista

Pros: Compact, performance enhanced, driver software disc, quick start guide included, easy to pair headset (Jabra Talk) to laptop; easy to pair smartphone (Samsung Note 3) to laptop; backwards compatible; range proximity 20-25 feet, depending on barriers. Able to transfer a variety of file types (.doc, apk, xls, jpg, png, avi, wmv, etc.) to and from laptop (HP Win7 x64 Home Premium) and my smartphone (Samsung Note 3).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Agree with Cameron K's points about Rocketfish; I too [still] own a Rocketfish Bluetooth adapter, and Kinivo BTD-400 exceeded my expectations 100-fold. Definitely, follow Joesph G's recommendations for install; can't go wrong there. Previous reviews mention the blue light as being extreme...maybe for them but it doesn't emit a lot of light.

5 out of 5 eggsThis Product Works!

Pros: Had this Bluetooth Adapter for over two months now with no problems.
I have used it on windows 7 and windows 8 and had a great experience with it.
it says Bluetooth 4.0 and it does work with older devices.

Cons: there are no issues so far.
the only con i can think of might be the blue led light if some of you do not like that
other than that, this thing works!

Other Thoughts: ive owned a rocketfish bluetooth adapter originally and i would recomend kinivo over rocketfish for bluetooth adapters
